So I scored 4 carded Argentina/Plastirama Joes at a flea market today for dirt cheap. Other than a few Action Force sets, these are the first international Joes I've ever had.
Once I got home, I noticed that the 1982 Destro card plastic had come unglued from the card at the bottom, and there was enough space to remove the figure. Wondering if I had been somehow jipped (although I doubt someone would repack a superior/mint American Destro for an inferior, brittle Plastirama one), I decided to pull out the figure and look for any stamp or markings. There were none - no markings at all (on butt, legs, feet, etc.). Is this common with international figures???? By the way - the figure is in absolutely pristine condition, and super tight, and he went right back into the plastic. |

Man, be patient. maybe nobody knows, or hasn't showed up.
If you want to check if it's the Argentinian Destro, check the waistpiece, it's different from the original. More info on Yojoe.com.

Some US Destros have no date stamps as well. Like M Renegade said, check YoJoe:
YOJOE.COM | Fuera de la Ley (Argentina) Apparently some of the Argentina figures look just like US Destro while others have the waist mold shared by Duke, Doc and Gung-Ho |

Thanks. Not sure why I didn't see that on Yojoe the other day before I posted. Mine definitely has the Doc/Gung Ho waist. Good enough confirmation for me. Thanks!

The Argentine Destro has a dark pigeon blood red paint color, also the waistband is different. Compare it to Doc V1 and if its the same that will check out as the import from Argentina.
The non-markings on the legs and butt are also a good indicator its the import. My Destro V1 is an Argentine import and I really like that dark red, gives a much deadlier look to the man. I bought mine fairly cheap carded and it had the same split in the bubble plastic that let him out to command the Hydrofoil. |
