It seems to me there is a lot of concern about what figure belongs to what line, what card art belongs to what series. Does it really matter?
Did anybody ever honestly care about this as a kid? When I was a kid all 3 3/4 figures had a giant battle as I saw fit. GI Joe, Star Wars, Buck Rodgers, Adventure People, Sgt. Rock, Tron...hell, He Man made an appearance or two along with Transformers. Are kids so consumed by marketing today that imagination is gone? huh.

Oh yeah. Go Bots were in the mix too. They usually got killed off early though.

I had some off brand power rangers that my dog chewed on, so i took my moms lighter and melted them to look like they had been caught in an explosion. Generally the joes would retaliate to avenge there fallen comrades.

I'm planning to mix SK Omega with my Modern Joes, my Joes need more vehicles! I mix my movie Marvel/Iron Man stuff with ROC/POC, and my 25th stuff with Marvel Universe/Comic Iron Man.

Lets see. I had the Hoth battle play set from star wars connected to a Stompers mountain play set with a Lego city at the other end. The Joes would defend the city from an attacking Cobra At-At supported by Hiss tanks and fangs the cobra infantry had many storm troopers in it too. Some of the rebel star wars folks were civilians and the transformers were their cars.
So yea as a kid every thing went together.

As a kid I pretended all my Joes were wrestlers from the WWF and WCW... that's why Road Pig was one of my faves because it was very easy to pretend he was Hawk from the Road Warriors. LOL.

I didn't mix scale, but did mix lines. I had some corps! figures, but they were generally fodder because my joes had to save their asses, lol. I was born in '83 so by I didnt really get into them until the DIC series. So I missed out on a lot of the older stuff, but I remember my 1st A.V., he was at that point in my life the coolest thing I'd ever seen, lol. At that point in my life, 1990-1991, the odds of getting a M.C.C. used were slim and getting the general was never an option, it was never in retail in my area, but I did have the GoBots Guardian Command Center. That served as my M.C.C. for all intents and purposes. I never had it stand up on all 4, mainly just had them ride around in it. I wish I still had it.

I didn't remember until you posted a pic of it, but I totally had that GoBot toy too! And I used that thing for everything! LOL. Wow, that brings back some memories... the ones I probably buried on purpose (lol); nice pic.

I used to mix them if size was a match.
I remember Chuck Norris beating the crap out of some C.O.P.S bad guys, and Rambo kicking Triklop's butt. Joes where more lonely, there wasn't another line to match here except the first TMNT (which where really small)
