If anyone here is like me, they love the poc line. Unfortunately, it seems like it may be a limited thing. With an impending movie and renegades, we may not see this continue. Many talk about running multiple joe lines at once as transformers and star wars does, but it may not be frugal for hasbro to do so.
If we cannot get the line to continue, is it possible to at least get hasbro to release a poc style figure in each wave? thoughts?

I think it all comes down to the S word, Sales, if Hasbro can see that POC is a financially sound direction I think they will find some way to continue it in the future, as for what way that will be, well that's anyone's guess, the preferable thing would be for Hasbro to run the lines at once as you say, however, if there's a new movie as seems to be coming together right now, and the renegades cartoon stuff, what do you think will be the first thing to go? That's right poor POC simply doesn't have a movie or cartoon behind it. However, I think POC will probably end up being like the classics/generations line for Transformers, it will disappear when a movie comes around, and the following year when one's not out, will come back under a new name. Just a theory. Here's to the long life of POC!

Probably not. But I thought it was at least worth seeing if there was interest in the idea by the fans. Is it something you would like to see gunslingercbr?

Correct. Two waves this year, two waves next year. This is something for the fans in-between RoC and when the Renegades line takes over.

Yeah I'm pretty sure PoC will last for a few releases like until Renegades is ready which I sorta figure 1st quarter of 2011. But I could be wrong.

i just want realisticly styled joes..be them movie/poc/renegades. i hated stylized figures of clone wars and tf animated and while im not a fan of bayformers at least the toys were not goofy preportions.

Hasbro expected until 2012, but with Walmart price, will not last more than 1 quarter.

From the responses so far, it seem like us geek fans would like to see POC continue, even though it will not. I understand Joe is not a line that can purely survive on fandom alone, but perhaps we can get a bone here and there?
Roc did it. Even though the 25th line was eliminated, which fans loved, they still put a figure out here and there that was relevant to the 25th line under the roc guise.

I don't know about the next movie line... While RoC made money at the box office, does anyone really know how much it made in the toy aisle? I can't imagine too much since figures - all figures - just sat and rotted away till clearance or buy one get one or whatever other sale came along.
25th/Classics you had figures that never seemed to make the pegs even though the rest of the wave was there. With RoC, even City Strike and PAris Pursuit Snake Eyes were peg warmers... I think even though PoC will go away, a new line with similar styiling will continue. Much like Star Wars... tey keep changing the line name to keep it 'fresh' but they keep rolling out the same kind of figures.
