I was just wondering if anyone has any idea which of the 2 versions of PP SE is the hardest to find/rarest. I have both MOC but I want to open one of them to display and I'd like to keep the harder to find version MOC.

seems to depend on where you are located.
Being in Toronto myself, I have only ever seen the Black Wolf variation, so for me I guess technically the Gray Wolf would be the more elusive/rarest of the two. That said, I think they are supposed to generally be equally easy to find, but if Hasbro packs one case with Black and the other with Gray who knows where they'll end up. my advice, keep em both MOC head and out find another to open. That way you dont have to worry about opening up the rarer of the two even though Hasbro stated they were to be made in equal numbers.

Lol, it's not like these figures are going to be worth anything in the future. Open them both up.

Well I'm not planning on selling any of them. I just like to keep certain figs that are either harder to find or fave figs of mine in package and open others and/or doubles to display. I would just personally prefer to have the harder to find versions MOC...Just my own preference.

You can also wait ti'll PoC arrives. You'll be flooded with old RoC stuff and probably find a PP SE. Or at least you'll know which SE is harder to find by that time.

Are you against buying another off the internet period or just ebay? Because PP Snake Eyes is available at HTS and Toys R Us' website.
TRU website has cheaper shipping and they JUST put City Strike SE in stock. Paris Pursuit SE: G.I. Joe The Rise of Cobra Single Pack Figure - Snake Eyes Paris Pursuit - Hasbro - Toys "R" Us City Strike SE: G.I. Joe The Rise of Cobra - Snake Eyes City Strike - Hasbro - Toys "R" Us |

As much as I hate to say it Walmart seems to be stocking more of the newer waves. In my area they have been getting the CS wave of figures as well as the Snarler Cycle and Mantis sub. Getting a CS SE for $5 is something I hope I can do someday. :( But, they seem to be selling quick due to the popularity and price. I've also seen at least 1 PP SE in each of the Walmarts in my area. Both the black and grey Timbers.
