Well I face a challenge now of how to display stuff I currently have and I'm getting in 9 more vehicles and my room is just too crowded.
I know I need to downsize, I've been continually downsizing my other collections other than Gi Joe but I keep on getting more vehicles than figures [which I like the vehicles better anyway] I have large things like the WHALE Hovercraft, the new Cobra Raven, the X-19 Jet, I have a Clone Wars AT-TE on display I may have to pack away. Various bookcases in my room all full of either books and DVDs now with Gi Joe Vehicles or my Anime Figures all over the shelves. I am going to have to either pack away ALL My books just to clear off shelves for new stuff, sell off the remaining few Transformers and I can't pack stuff away cause my closet's already full. Anyone else have the problem of a overflowing Collection? Especially when it comes to Gi Joe Vehicles and if you're an Army Builder I know that you guys probably have to find some way to get your room or display area straightened up... |

Sort of know how you feel. LOL. I have only 1 display case with three sections enclosed in glass. 1 section belongs to only Yuki Nagato figs, 1 section belongs to only Rei Ayanami figs and the last section has some Yoko and Kagami figs.
My poor Joes don't have a nice home; they are currently resting in a 10 gallon aquarium tank for the time being. LOL. Plus, I still have some other anime figs that didn't make the "display status" cut. LOL. I keep trying to rearrange things to make more room like I am doing a rubik's cube... but it is hopeless... too much stuff not enough room. LOL. |

Get grief from my wife and I'm clearly informed that the room is the ONLY place your "sh*t" can be and if you don't have enough room you can box it up and put it in storage.
Thus, I display a [prtion of my collection and rotate it around a bit depending on my particular tastes at the time.

Just tonight I had to pack away the Joes I had on display and move all my Stargate Figures and both Stargates, DHD, Ancient Control Chair to one shelf then put two Battleforce 2000 Vehicles there on the shelf [The Vector Jet and the Dominator]
I'm now at the point of passing some of my Vehicles onto my Nephew who thanks to my brother has discovered the coolness of classic Gi Joe with the cartoon so at the very least I can re-gain some floor space. When I had my BIG HUGE Millenium Falcon out it just took too much space, I had to literally pack that sucker away in the closet. My room is just a disorganized jumble of piles, with at least figures organized on the shelves. My collection I have currently out on display consists of Diamond Select's Stargate SG-1/Atlantis Series figures, Anime Gashapons,Banpresto DX Figures,Megahouse RAH DX Gundam Figures, and of course Mobile Suit GUndam which occupies two whole shelves...three and a half if you include the shelf that has my Bigro Mobile Armor on it with 3 Hiss Tanks and a FANG copter on the same shelf. I'm through buying stuff just got to wait on the last things i'm bidding on to end then wait for those things to arrive. My Poor Star Wars Action Fleet is going to be packed away, have to get rid of my near complete Exosquad Action Figures and the small Robotech Collection I got I may pack away as well. The only problem is I don't have a lack of awesome in my collection, I actually have too MUCH awesome in my collection. |

I can't go too high with shelves and my bookshelves are just cast offs that I got, my walls are full of my Micheal Turner Fathom Posters and Art Prints that are framed.

Actually I re-arranged my shelf where I had my robotech stuff and brought the dusty old WHALE out to be dusted and cleaned off. Got my Cutter and 25th Comic Pack Shipwreck on the WHALE.
My Optimus Prime may be packed away, keeping out my Anime stuff for sure.... My room just looks like a Motor Pool at some times for Gi Joe and Cobra. Got rid of a TON of my Transformers, this month has forced a Purge of my collection and now it's required to clear out space. One thing I always wonder is WHY DO THE COOL VEHICLES TAKE UP SO MUCH SPACE?! I mean the AT-TE is a HUGE Walking Battle Machine and the X-19 Is a sleek looking Stealth Jet which just is awesome, I have mine now on the bottom of the main bookcase I display my Joes and Gundams on with the Weapons Transport vehicle that has two bomb holder vehicles on it next to it[sort of as if it's getting re-armed on the ground and a mini oil drum next to it] Still the Ferengi part of me follows the rules of acquisition and usually goes with the rule of "More is good, All is Better" Just got too much stuff....it's like you look at it all and wonder damn, just how would I properly display it all and how much could I get for it if I sold it all? |

Try hanging the X-19 from the ceiling. I made alot of shelf space by doing that. I have a huge aerial ballet of a dog fight taking place on my ceiling...
