Yeah, Darth Brett should throw out that score along with one score of 10 like they do in the olympics.

I found Scarlett quite difficult to score because this figure and retro Duke are somewhat different to mainstream Classified in terms of the design goals.
As dedicated retro figure, I would give Scarlett a 10. The design perfectly captures all features of the original figure (down to the wrist Derringer and throwing stars). I do think the face sculpt has a very slight cartoonish look - but it does feel consistent with the Retro nature of the figure. It’s simply a great looking figure overall. However, judged simply as another Classified release, I would knock the score down to 8. The overall design and the face sculpt do strike me as being slightly out-of-step with most other figures - but not glaringly so. The points deduction instead mainly comes from the non-removable nature of the quiver. The quiver essentially locks Scarlett into using her crossbow (since it can’t be stored). This makes the backpack and rifles seem redundant.

I use a weighted scoring system and every vote is counted, but using this system prevents a random, low-scoring vote from adversely affecting how a figure does in the rankings.
Obviously there's no fool-proof way to do it perfectly, but I feel like the system I have in place does a pretty good job.

I immediately replaced and flat out got rid of the first release Scarlett even before getting this one in hand. I also don't preorder every figure that is announced but this one I did. This is the best athletic female figure sculpt put out thus far, although I don't think it should be used for every female character or troop.
I like the alternate hair pieces but agree it's odd the quiver is not removable but that's a very minor nitpick for me. This isn't an issue solely with a Scarlett accessory, but I also dislike the giant pegs sticking out of the backpacks. I understand what they are for, but they are so unsightly especially since I never mount up multiple primary weapons on a backpack. As an aside, I wish this was the sculpt (or something akin to it) is used for actual superhero types for Marvel Legends as rereleases. |

I was going to go back to the beginning of the line with 00 SNAKE EYES and give my thoughts on each figure, (despite being a "day late and a dollar short,") but there's something about Retro SCARLETT that I wanted to speak on and it can't wait, more on that later.
My initial thoughts were despite the buck being spot on (making the retro card back SCARLETT the definitive and best version of the figure in her 42 year history,) I didn't like her portrait because I felt that it didn't fully encapsulate her beauty. As more pictures came out, I watched the reviews, and of course when I got her in hand, (shout to MAINFRAME who made me understand and appreciate having a figure in hand,) I saw that Shana was indeed the hot red head that she was always intended to be. The part that had me fucked up was SCARLETT's "resting bitch face," and the fact that her countenance doesn't accentuate and compliment her beauty as much as it should. I'm begging for y'all apologies in advance because I'm about to go into oversexed creepy, geeky nerdy fan boy mode. To quote the late great Prince da Gawd from that song, SCARLETT is a sexy muthafucka. I'm glad that Lenny didn't shy away from having SCARLETT properly proportioned especially in her rack. SCARLETT is how athletic fit chicks with nice racks are built in real life. Seeing how SCARLETT is proportion gives me hope that Pythona will be tall and voluptuous. However, the drawback is Miss SCARLETT's ample bosom interferes with shouldering her rifles and achieving a proper combat grip with her 1911. I like how the her unitard fits around her butt, (and in Vince McMahon voice,) LOOK AT HER THIGHS! Shana definitely isn't missing leg day. I'm loving the fact Lenny added that detail. It has me wondering if Miss SCARLETT can do kegels. As for the rest of the articulation I was able to get her into the poses I wanted her in. I like the fact that they gave us two ponytails and the option of having her with short hair. I'm eventually going to have a 3D printing cat make a plug for the hole. I like how the crossbow looks like the one on her card art. I'm diggin' the bolts and the quiver. A small nitpick is I wish SCARLETT would have gotten a KA-BAR inspired knife. Shana would have been perfect if not for this major oversight. I need somebody to explain to me how after 4 1/2 years of the Classified Series started and the success the line has seen how we got a SCARLETT without a holster. This shit bothers me and is absolutely inexcusable. SCARLETT coming without a holster is something I would have expected pre-DUSTY. DUSTY marks a line a demarcation in the Classified Series because the line obviously got a bigger budget because every figure after DUSTY got more accessories and more deco. Did SCARLETT's holster get priced out? If so something else should have been left out so we could of gotten the holster. Though she's depicted as using M16, (as a matter of fact one of the most iconic covers of the Marvel run SCARLETT has a M16,) but a M16 isn't essential to Red's loadout or Lenny could of left out that random thingy on her right tigh that only serves a purpose to make Retro SCARLETT accurate to her v1 figure. The lack of a holster is why I gave SCARLETT an 8. Yeah I can get SCARLETT a holster from Gridiron, but like the Toy Tubers say, "I shouldn't have to do that." I can see why dudes would name SCARLETT the best G I JOE Classified Seriesfigure for the first half of the year. Despite the lack of holster SCARLETT is my current favorite figure and she's the one I pull out when I have my figures out. I wonder will the team use SCARLETT for a QUARREL figure. How do you guys feel about SCARLETT not having a holster?
