Here’s another attempt at bringing those early Classified figures closer to what I liked about the originals I had in the 80s. For me, the original 82/83 Scarlett was a terrible looking figure, but the card illustration of the character was so good, that I looked past the derpy figure. Both the card art, plus the characterization of Scarlett in the Marvel Comics kept me a fan of the character (even though the original figure was always a disappointment).

Thanks. Did my best to create something that gave me that feeling of what I wanted of a figure that reflected what I imagined of the character that was on the original card art.

The original 80s aerobics/Jane Fonda outfit was really simple. I thought about replicating that exactly, but there?s a lot of complicated details to the classified sculpt that I thought it would be strange to just block out the colors from the 80s costume. Also, I cut off that weird shoulder pauldron thing on her left shoulder and added an armor piece. That felt like it wanted to another color other than the shirt color.

Not exactly the 80s costume, it in the spirit of it, I guess.

She looks great! Is the entire head repainted as well? I feel like my Scarlett has a pale ghost skin tone kind of like the new retro Gung-Ho (my only complaint about him).

I just repainted the eyes and eyebrows. I added a red wash to the hair as well. The eyes on my figure originally were a little “ambiguous”; difficult to get a read on the pupils and the expression felt weirdly “happy” in a Barbie doll kind of way.
