Based on current toy action figure aisle trends...

one would hazard a guess of the following for the "Snake Eyes" film:

4 POA figures that will most likely come in 'versus ninja-mode two pack' with minimal in count -large accessories. Figures interact with sound chip add on capability (sold seperately)

Large 'hunks of plastic' vehicles that hold only a single figure with minimal detail. With sound chip inside!

Motorbikes (Ninja bikes) vehicles with the figure permanently affixiated on it. These have a racer action feature (pull back cord)

What do you guys hazard to guess?

I'm thinking if they do anything for collectors it'll be a 6inch scale line like Star Wars Black. I'd love to see a reissue line like they are doing with Transformers right now, but I'm doubtful.

After Hasbro drops the Star Wars license as it is in the red last, this and next year, I predict Hasbro will bring Joe back in Full Force!

I don't know if it would save money or not, but they should do another DG line with 6 figures, and each wave is just a repaint of those 6 figures. I wish they would use the following bucks:

1. DG SW where the first color is all white.
2. Ret. Ult. CC with chrome dome and helmet where the first color is red.
3. DG Cobra Trooper where the first color is light grey.
4. DG Storm Shadow where the first color is yellow with white lower legs.
5. A real ARAH style Duke using 50th Flint body with 52nd Duke head.
6. SE with a shock Trooper buck and legs.

I'd be shopping at Dollar General for sure if DG Joes were a thing again. But for your buck choices...I have a couple of places I would disagree. Overall, if I was to tweak your list I would do the following:

1. Yes, this buck has plenty more life left in it I think. Just maybe swap out the knee-pad knees for the solid knees without knee pad holes. Swap in the turtleneck collar in place of the knee pad accessories. Swap in a vest or web belt of some kind in place of the useless backpack and scuba mask.
2. A red CC? OK I would buy one (I know you Red Laser guys would buy truckloads of the red CC)...but I can't imagine needing any alternate colors of CC after the red one, so why waste a slot on all subsequent waves? That's how you get peg warmers! I'd swap in a repaint of the 30th Airtight, starting with an all-white suit and then doing orange and blue variants in subsequent waves. Include only a Cleansweep helmet and the Airtight oxygen tank backpack. If you have room in the budget, squeeze in a vest to tie it together a bit.
3. Yes, yes, YES! Stick with the same parts and accessories as the previous DG Cobra Troopers but in new colors. And gray is the perfect first choice.
4. NOOOOOO! I could live the rest of my life without any more SS figures (or dedicated ninja bucks in general). I'd rather see a good generic soldier build in this slot. Do something where you could get modern military trooper stand-ins in desert, arctic, and woodland type uniforms. Go as heavy as you can with web gear and a helmet, skip weapons entirely or just include a single rifle at most.
5. Again, I would LOVE an ARAH Duke with a good Retaliation/30th/50th parts build of some sort, but what repaints would we have use for after that? Maybe all white again, but then what? All black for nigh force, maybe all green for troopers (include that DG Duke helmet in each color you release as well). I dunno, maybe this one does have legs for a few waves at least.
6. Just a black Shock Trooper buck? Yes, please. But keep the SE head and put a Beachhead head on there instead. That way we get that great ski-masked head in a variety of colors with each repaint (and again, a white repaint would be a good choice). If we can get a vest in the set to go with the figure, so much the better.

Nothing too exotic with SE and SS please. The green and creamsicle versions killed the line! The other figures in W2 were pretty ok (SW was great, but not as SW), but those two were bad bad bad. All white SS first, then an all red one, then an all black one. For SE all black first, then dark blue, then dark dark green or dark grey. CC is a bit of a wasted slot unless the buck is versatile otherwise (which it easily could be), but red, black and blue are all solid. Budget paint app 30th Vipers might also be good in his place. Weapon trees would be cool if plastic was cheap enough, cooler than a single weapon for sure.

I did a whole thread on this a few months back, people had some interesting ideas in there.

Duke MUST be Sunbow Duke for the first wave, then slowly phase him into Flint colors (don't know if a head swap is possible though, maybe just hair/clothes difference). Or el generico.
