i might be me holding things up with him i placed a big order lol but seriously i've been in contact with him many times about an idea i have for a few customs projects he should think about etc and anyway....
he always emails back quickly and told me he usually has a 4-6 week turn around on orders but it is a little behind now do to volume of sales all at one time so its closer to 2 months. last time i chatted with him was like 2 weeks ago. so hold in there it will be worth it in the end. such a great guy to deal with and very accomodating for what i wanted him to do, where other companies have just said "NO" and dont return follow up emails. i'll pay extras for quaility but not attitude and he has been nothing but A+ the whole time. i will definitly buy from him again in a heart beat. |

Given his huge catalogue and the fact he offers so many colour options mean that everything is made to order.
His stuff is good and for me the option to choose the colour is a huge plus. It does mean that orders can take months though as he works through his backlog and has to get his materials for different colours. |

Fantastic pieces, but his delivery times are slow and his communication/updates sparse. I had a February 2nd order, that I didn't get until the end of July. Granted it was a large order, but I had to follow up with him a lot the last two months before he finally shipped. I would order again, but only smaller orders.

Updates are sparse, but he always answers quickly to inquiries. My June 1 order was small, a few hats and tools. He said he hoped to get to them in October. I hope so too because my order was very spur of the moment and I knew it would take a while but I had no idea it would take this long. In 4 months the need and desire for these particular parts has gone away and I have long moved on to other projects. Still looking forward to getting them, and he has been a great communicator when asked, just takes way too long for me to consider any future orders. Love him, love his work, just takes too long for my needs.

That's about the only knock against him, but it is a big one.

Yeah Vort does good work.Like everyone said, it can take him awhile. We all have to remember hes a one man show, with a family etc. Not sure if he does this fulltime anymore.

I've ordered twice and I'm very pleased. But it does take a loooooong time. It just depends on whether the pieces are in stock and how much of a backlog he has to work through. I ordered a complete figure kit and it took me like 4 or 5 months.
Best bet is to follow him on Facebook. Each month, he posts a list of what orders will be cast that month. |
