listing 25th stuff in the vintage years-if i want 25th stuff i will go the current years saying AFA when its not shipping of item is way to freakin high seller not able to leave neg feedback for not paying(still stuck with the ebay fees) cant say anything about sniping cause i have done it for something i realy wanted saying "very rare" or VHTF or stupid stuff like that did i mention fees? ebay ownes paypal- man they got us by the balls on fees international bidders will still bid even if you state that you only ship in the USA i had a seller asking me for more shipping money cause he misjudge on shipping .such BS sellers packs items very poorly and it gets all broken in shipment.when you inquire about it .they state in thier aution as is and no refunds-pisses me off man-i could wright a book on 101 ways to hate ebay but i will stop here |

My biggest Pet peeves are:
1. Feedback. LEAVE IT! Prime example: I dealt with 4 different buyers last Friday, only 1 has left feedback. Is it really that hard? What's funny though..the same people who don't leave feedback are the same ones that whine when you don't leave it for them. "WAH!" 2. Don't bitch about pricing, shipping, etc.....if you can't READ! If EVERYTHING you're complaining about is already listed in an auction BEFORE you bid...then why are you acting as if we've just discovered an untold secret that will bankrupt you forever? 3. eBay Fees - If I can't leave a negative for a dead beat buyer, I shouldn't be charged fees for listing an item that the aforementioned dead beat bid on. I get charged to list, to sell and to ACCEPT money (paypal). 4. Feedback - Why can't I, as a Seller, leave negative feedback? Oh, I see, because pauly two stroke paid me? Oh....but Pauly paid from an unconfirmed account and then filed a dispute because his g.i.joe figure doesn't breakdance...and wins. Nice. |

Here's some of the things I can't stand on eBay...
-Snipers who bid on things in the last seconds, especially if it is something you really need and have had a lot of trouble finding. I've missed three 1982 Snake Eyes and two 1982 Zaps in that way, due to snipers. Thanks a bunch, guys... =/ -The tendency things have to jump in price in the last days of an auction. For example, I was watching the other day a set of heat sensitive stickers for Zartan and for three or four straight days it stayed $4.99 with zero bids and in the last day of the auction it shot up to over $10. Seems like you can't get anything for a bargain these days... -Sellers that don't take time to answer your questions about stuff they have for sale. I remember one time I asked Night Vipers Joes a question about a 1982 Scarlett they had for sale and they never responded. It was a condition question about a figure I was very serious about buying and they didn't even take time to answer the question I asked. And someone else bought the Scarlett before me. And I still don't have a 1982 Scarlett in my series one set as a result. Sellers that don't take time to communicate with potential buyers I would say really irritate me the most.

i have to put my 2 cents on the sniping part.i will admit i have done it and its happened to me.it realy all boils down to who is willing to pay the most at the end.alot of people will bid at the last 30 seconds, but the winner is the one who offers the most.i know its frustrating to lose like that but thats the american way isnt it.the reason why i dont bid until the last minute in all my auctions is because the price will just go up and up and will go alot higher than snipin at the end.you out due alot of your compitition at the end instead of giving them time to figure there funds and bid higher.
so yes i do it and alot of times i get outdone by a higher bidder |

1. Bidders who can't read
2. Sellers who don't leave feedback 3. Fees. They're on the high side. However... 4. ...I also have a pet peeve about anyone who talks about how eBay is "raping" or "pillaging" or whatever else. If you don't like it, don't use it. I don't like the fees either, but I prefer paying them to not having as wide a market for a hot item I'm selling. 5. Anyone who continually bitches about eBay being the scourge of the collecting universe. If it weren't for eBay, our hobby would not be as big as it is right now, and a ton of what we have in our collections wouldn't be there. The supply wouldn't be nearly as plentiful for anything.

I hate the stock pictures. If it is pre-order, I can understand but if you are promoting an item, in hand, I want several pictures of it.
I hate high shipping. I don't mind a seller making a little extra on shipping but don't gouge the buyer. I won't bid on an item that, let's say, has a bid price of $1 and the shipping is $30, especially if it is a figure or something like that. If it is a large item, then I have no problems with it. I hate it when no feedback is left or you get the feedback 2 months later. I take the time to leave feedback promptly, I expect the same. I love and hate ebay at the same time. I now have the resource to find whatever item I want unfortunately sometimes I have to deal with the dregs of society to get it. More often than not though, the experience has been pleasant. |

I agree on the handling fees. Just put them in the price if they are legit.
As for the crazy Canada shipping, I tried to get a quote and it was more than the cost of the stuff I was sending. I thought there would be a little increase but the post office price was crazy. |

actualy one thing I do sorta hate is paypals waiting time for funds to clear in the acount . it takes me 4 working days for money to clear which sucks . cuz I'd prefer it to be instant or at least take 2 days. one other thing I hate but its nothing to do with ebay or paypal really is when you have funds in your account but you need like 30c or $1 outa your cred card but its Maxed out . thats really anoying .

I abhor sellers who think they have some rare item just because it comes from GIJOE or Star Wars. They put these stupidly ridiculous Buy-It-Now prices on the auction and wonder why it didn't sell. And then they re-list it for the same price! (even after 30 days of not selling!)

so yes i do it and alot of times i get outdone by a higher bidder I totally agree. Its not cool to be sniped, and yes it sucks. However if you are bidding early, all you is do is driving up the price for everyone else. You have to look at it like this, there will be always someone else in the world who is willing to pay that 50 cents extra to win the auction. Bid late to keep the price down.
