Hisstank fan excitement doesn't always translate into the general population. Don't get me wrong this has been a great week, but just because Resolute FINALLY came out doesn't mean Hasbro's design team is going to start cranking out new molds. If anything watching Hasbro's stock profits for the last quarter being down 40 percent doesn't tell me "start new molds". Not to reign on anyones parade, I want it just as much as everyone else, but I also hate seeing lots of exciting talk with no evidence.

There is no way the line is dead. Hasbro would be crazy to let this line go. They had to have made a killing on us as far as profits. I think the line will continue on for a good while.

Bear in mind we have no idea where these figures are coming, or even if they're coming (it wouldn't be the first time unproduced molds have leaked out of Hasbro's factories...."Robot Rebellion" anybody)?
Also bear in mind Hasbro is probably not going to comment on ANY of this stuff until San Diego Comic Con at the earliest. |

I can't believe this topic came up again. It's absolutely ridiculous and impossible to speculate on. Can we please carry on with our normally scheduled programming?

No, it's not dead. I wouldn't be that surprised if Hasbro slipped in Modern Era and Resolute styled figures for their movie line. Modern Era and Resolute might not draw kids as much as the movie, but it'll keep fans and collectors interested in the line. I remember that Transformers had some Energon, Cybertron, and Classics repaints in the movie line.

Two words: "YO JOE!"
Of course the line lives. Even it it doesn't I have enough plastic at my house alone that archeologists a 1000 years in the future will find them, put together some repaints, and yell "Yo Joe!" |
