going trough a nostalgia kick I was wondering what ye guys would think if Hasbro where to re-tool and re-release the vintage motorized back pack line ? or even release new ones.
for added bonus I have a pic of one of my modified ones albeit battle damaged (looks like a dog chewed on it but looks like bullet holes now lol )

If they were regular sized instead of giant, I could go for a rope crawling backpack for fun.

These would be better as a pack in than the spring loaded gimiks we have been getting. I remember these. With the latest in tooling details, new versions of these classics would be awesome to have in the line. Just think, motorized PAK RATs.

Looks cool, but NO.
Nostalgia aside, Hasbro is doing everything they can now to cheapen the quality of the plastic, consistency of the paint job, and limit the accessories with the exception of Lady Jaye and some of the so-called "ultimate" figures coming out soon. With things motorized, they may as well go back to the pathetic Ret wave-1 bad p.o.a. drivers for figures with zero articulation and zero poseability. They'd be pegwarmers, IMHO.
