Am I alone in saying that I dislike the new movie line of toys. The 25th and 30th anniv stuff was awesome and the ROC POC stuff was good but this stuff coming out is overpriced, poorly packaged, and oddly colored? I just don't get it. The worst part is all my friends keep pointing it out at retail asking me why I dont buy more of the Retaliation toys. I tell them that these one look stupid, and they look at me even stranger than normally. They never understood my fascination with toys to begin with, so for me to judge these not worthy of my time and money surprises them. WTF is going on at HASBRO?

It's a movie line. Some of it is going to be unappealing to you(me), the non target audience. That said, there have been a few good ones, like the joe trooper and lady jaye. The 3 pack firefly is the best ever. Bottom line, just like always, you gotta be selective and get the appealing stuff.

The next wave is much better and you will be much happier with them as they reflect more of an ARAH sensibility along with several far better movie characters.

Odd as it sounds, whilst I've come close to purchasing some of the current figures, the fact that they don't come with stands has always seen me put them back on the pegs. I know that sounds like a weak reason not to buy the figures but the idea of trying to pose yet another figure without a base to keep it steady is really off-putting.

I been the same way I've actually sat there for literally an hour trying to convince myself I need them
But just couldn't do it I was close to buying the Retaliation 3 packs but the price was far to pricey when in most the sets I only liked one figure The only thing I bought was a Roadblock just for his body to make My Custom Slaughter That says a lot as Im usually quik to surrender my money for joes Seems like the Fss Figs are the best thing smoking and I don't have a membership so there goes my fun lol |

There is quite a bit off weird stuff going on at Hasbro in general. Star Wars is kind of a catastrophe right now... Iron Man 3 figures are low articulation now. Marvel Universe is practically non-existent. And granted, they got kind of screwed by the movie delay last year, but a few 30th Anniversary figures would have been awesome and would have filled the gaps when the movie stuff got pulled. But since it wasn't planned, it didn't happen.

I gotta be honest guys, I really like the majority of the retaliation figures...I just don't care for the articulation on a few of them. For instance, I hate Flints articulation, but I love the figure. Lady Jaye is awesome too.
