What a novel idea. If only Hasbro had thought of redoing these and running them on The Hub or during other network toons, sales might be better.

Thanks for all of the kinds words. Although it was fun to put the catalog together (there are a few custom figs in there that were satisfying to do…particularly Steeler and red pad Grand Slam)…it was bitter sweet for me.
The 30th anniversary of ARAH Joe kinda came and went without much of anything. Sure there were some nice things in the 30th line, when you could find it at retail, and it is also true that nearly everything in this catalog update got a release during the 25th run…but I know that personally, I would have loved if the 30th was presented like this in a clear and succinct way. I consider the 30th line we got basically POC rebranded and not a clear continuation of the 25th line. What do you guys think? Was the 30th a good one? |

This is awe inspiring!
My first Joe was Steeler with the Mobat, while my brother got the Vamp with Clutch. My first single card figure was a straight armed Grunt. I remember the video and catalog, and this was a thing of beauty. Thanks!

I agree with you about the 30th being rebranded POC. In fact, some etailers like Entertainment Earth even listed cases of 30th as being later waves of POC. |
