I knew it Hasbro. You always find a way to let us down. The best
figure of the 30th line and you remove him from the lineup. Did you think that no one would notice? Oh let me guess "it didn't fit with the story line" or it wasn't cost friendly to produce like the data-viper. See Hasbro, this is why sales are low. Thanks. |

I bet he will be released via the Joe Club next year, like Dr.Venom.

Way to not read the Q&As....
Hasbro's still looking to get him out in Spring of next year as of a couple weeks ago. Save your panic for when it's warranted. If bad comes to worse, he'll probably show up as a TRU exclusive in the RoC 2 line or something. With that much new tooling, Hasbro WILL find a place to release it. |

Whatever? We'll see. And if you are referring to to the Q&A, I know
what their answer was. They said 'they weren't sure what wave they would fit him in'. That and the fact that he's AWOL now tells me he's out. Say what you want. |

As for the movie, they said clearly, "No classics". Maybe they will change their mind. But I'm just referencing the Q and A that I read. (I will avoid the snarky comment here.)

I think most EVERYONE read the Q and As. "Hope" and "trying" were the words they used. Not showing the figure AGAIN is speaking without words. No one is certain of anything (outside of Hasbro) but they are saying essentially "Don't get your hopes up." In fact, I'm pretty certain if they don't know the line-up at this point, it ain't comin' out. Just the time from saying "ok" to the manufacturer to the time production, if they don't say "yes, definitely" to it being released in the 30th wave, it is not likely to hit.
As for the movie, they said clearly, "No classics". Maybe they will change their mind. But I'm just referencing the Q and A that I read. (I will avoid the snarky comment here.) Nevermind that Hasbro also clearly and demonstrably considers exclusives different and separate from the "mainline" (otherwise we wouldn't be getting that Dreadnok pack). All the "classic-ish" figures that came out under the RoC banner were exclusives with the exception of the Para-Viper repaint (and that's borderline given that Para-Viper was not a "classic" character). I will gladly eat crow if it proves different for RoC 2...but I'm not counting on it. Hasbro really isn't going to be stupid enough to completely and utterly alienate "classic" fans and say "We'll just let the Club get all their money instead and completely abandon virtually the only people that have been buying this line for the last couple years." But anyway, feel free to add your name to the Chicken Little roster. Once again, Hasbro isn't just going to pitch that tooling. Worst-case scenario he becomes the SDCC exclusive the year after next (because next year's will almost certainly be movie-related). *Buck-buck-buck-AWK!* Last edited by Jmacq1; 10-14-2011 at 08:56 AM.. |

i think it's a little to early to call a shot saying he ain't going to be made, like jmaq said, the sky ain't falling, it's just a bunch of acorns..
and kwin ain't the best figure of the line, he don't even compare to life line, techno viper or sci fi. those by far are the best of the line that we are getting. i would like a kwin, but he don't compare to those 3, in my case anyway, i can't speak for everyone, but those three will sell alot better than kwin i expect. especially techno, he will be hard to gather up, and will be a sell out. |
