A few of you already know through text, but I stopped into the Norwood Newbury Comics tonight and there to my surprise was 1 set of the DG wave 2 (repaint) figures over on the pegs. Just the 6 figures total. I had no idea that these were coming to NC and was surprised to see them there for sure. Each figure was $7.99 each except Cobra Commander and Snake Eyes who were $9.99 each. I'm well aware that as a specialty store, prices differ depending on character popularity, but they clearly didnt do any research to know that Duke and Cobra Trooper are the big sellers. Anyway, I bought the set (begin the gasping and groaning) because they were all right there and easier than having shipped etc. First place to carry these locally since TJMaxx/Homegoods several months ago. Newbury Comics skus are as follows:

So $52 dollars on DG repaints. I paid $32 plus $13 shipping for a Pile O' Loot from BBTS that includes the DG Repaint case, Maruaders 7 pack, GI Joe Wave 2.5, both Wave 2 3-packs, clearanced MU Herc & Hulk, and an extra DG Storm Shadow repaint.

I got the better deal but you got the figures first. UPS says I'll have mine on Monday.

Whoa whoa whoa... The $32+$13 was for the DG joes only right? Because there's no possible way you got all that stuff for $45!

Netkid- you got a photo of that m.a.r.s. robot your looking for in the dollar stores. Saw a bunch of yellow converters yesterday in Bellingham rite aid and Walgreens.

I meant the $13 was my shipping total for all those items. My shipping was severely lessened thanks to my Pile O' Loot. It works out to under $.50 a figure.

Point being, AT paid $52 and has then in hand. I paid $35 (total with shipping case $13 divided by 28 figures in my POL works our to .$46, which if you multiply times 6 figures in the DG case gives me a shipping of just under $3). Shady math since the DGs alone would not have cost $3 to ship but I use the numbers to my advantage to give you a CASH SAVINGS STAMOS!

Beam does the Bellingham comic shops carry decent amount of idw Joe comics? NEC in Norwood seems to have adjusted their purchase numbers. Cobra #2 was gone. I don't buy enough to qualify for a pull list.

Here DS, they look like this:

They come carded, but even though they've been sold at Walgreens, they seem to be stocked regularly at Dollar General.

Ok, that's not what I saw, but now I know they are a three pack and carded and dollar general and Walgreens. Ok I'll let you know when I find them.
