No, I can't go to joecon because I'd rather not spend $1500-$2000+ on registration, exclusives, gas or airfare, hotel accommodations, multiple meals, dealer room temptations, and other expenses, when I could instead spend $400-$600 on a non-attendee set and exclusives and be done with it.

And I'm not really doing "2 subs", just getting the ones I decide I want doubles of. I'm going to be getting all my stuff for free this year just need to be business savy... Between Dreadnok619, myself and Dgnr82 the trip to Indy will be relatively cheap and selling my con stuff will pay for the trip. Been planning this for a while on how to go for free...

So does that mean you're selling this year's Night Force set? I'm tempted to get it, making it my first con set. But only if I can get it at the original price.

Yeah but give the clusterfuck last year I didn't have high hopes of getting one. I don't plan on sitting by the computer hitting F5 until it's up. Ultimately, I'm not going to overpay if I miss out I'm not going to slide into a deep depression. Plus we still have someother figures to see. They could be terrible, but given the quality of what's been revealed so far, I'm sure I'll like the whole set.

Should be a pretty good trip. Saving up on my Paypal funds for it right now.....just so I can purchase as much stuff from the con as possible.

Viperskindom is posting a lot more of the Dollar General "wave 2" (repaints), I'm thinking these will be hitting the states fairly soon. Planning to get quite a few of the green-shirted Shipwrecks this time to make some original joe troopers. The slightly garish cobra trooper looks ok but is not as cool as the black one IMO.

Yeah, I'm in for 2 each of the Storm Shadow repaint (T'Gin Zu?), Snake Eyes, and Duke when they show. The others are a pass. Hopefully Hasbro has convinced more retailers to carry this wave.

On another note, I just joined the club so I can qualify for the Iceberg figure and a discount on the con set should I decide to pull the trigger.
