Anyone looking for Renegades Storm Shadow is chasing thier tail. It's evident store workers have caught on and are holding it back for themselves. It has to be all about the thrill of the hunt because the cost of gas makes the amount of searching reported on here cost prohibitive if you actually do find one.

On eBay, he's at a decent price right now for a VHTF figure. Average ending auction is the low to mid twenties (not including shipping).

Seems like there's only one e-tailer that has a case. It's $90 for 6 figures which is pricey but your guarenteed a SS. Plus if you have old reciepts you can return the extra figures to a store. Some collectors may frown on that but desperate times.

Same site has him for $45 so a case is a much better option.

um...keep in mind, Joecon is in two months, and SDCC is in 3. so with everyone switching their attention to the movie figs, Storm shadows will start popping up in droves. or will be available at both Joecon or SDCC.

Another SS made an apperance and is gone....lol
I doubt many of you guys will find him because the Hot Wheel collectors are snagging them. Words out that he is a hot fig and easy $25 on ebay. Like Beam said best bet is to save yourself time, gas, and money and just grab him off Ebay before he sky rockets again. Time is running out on him as movie figs will be in stockrooms soon. Tucker and myself grabbed them on Ebay months ago. Another solution is make friens with a HW collector and give him $5 over the cost of the fig...

Not really, scalpers will be scalpers. Someone's always trying to make a quick buck. It just sucks that we wind up missing out. Oh well, I got what I needed when things were available, anything else at this point is just frosting on the cake.

What exactly are these HW collectors after? I've grabbed a few here and there, but it's only the DC, Hanna Barbera and Movie Vehicles and I see those everywhere.

HW collectors are REALLY into it. I've met a couple that are retired and they hunt every day. They know stocking schedules, so yeah if they hear SS is rare they'll get it when us young guys are at work. HW are a hobby like this. They like the different colors and models. There are chase cars. I just buy the ones I like, but there are some serious guys out there. Probably more of door warmers than joe collectors.
