North Carolina G.I. Joe Sightings

I just found 2 more black headed destros at the wally off of mount holly/huntersville rd tonight (I 485). They had plenty of wv5 and 2 sets of the dvd packs, no single figs.

walmart in wilkesboro got 2 cases of wave 5 cps, i got to open them and there was definitely not a black headed destro. they have probably 50 to 60 single card figures all of wave 7 plus all of wave 9 minus the bat and serpents now. i snagged the falcon and tripwire packs and left all the rest.

I think it's supposed to be 1 in 2 cases. Not sure though, but it really didn't seem like it was going to be that rare. There was a second case on the bottom of the pallet that I didn't bother with, so in all likelihood, there is another black headed Destro up there.

market street wal mart as of 20 minutes ago had almost all of wave 9 and a black headed destro...stress HAD on the Destro.

Walked into Wendover Wal-Mart tonight. Last time I was there (2 days or so ago) they had about 5 figures. Today I saw all 4 pegs filled!

Then I saw it was all wave 7 :(

Ok, TRU still has several Wave 9's, no BATS or Snow Serpents.

Target on the other hand had the Wave 9 variant case..you know, the one covered in Vaseline. That's right. Front and back, every figure. Covered in Vaseline. I'm mean, hole punching to discourage collectors is wone thing, but lube? Wow.

Maybe they're getting ready to raise their prices, and just want to make it easier for you to take!

Picked up a BBQ at the Briar Creek Target in Raleigh Last night on my drive back from MD. They only had BBQ which was strange since he was the only Wv9 i was missing (cept my troop builder). Now i still need to fill in Wave8. /sigh
