I checked Target's website like I have been doing every morning:

Find it at a Target store

Today it listed every store as "Out of stock" except the Boulder store which said "Limited Availability". So I went to the store and found the $24.99 tag for the "Large 3.75 vehicles" but no vehicles in sight.

I found an employee who was very helpful and found that they had some in the back. He pulled out one Rattler, which I bought, and one Conquest which I did not buy so when I left it was still on the shelf.

I am not sure if there were any more Rattlers in the back that he did not pull out but at least we now know they are in Colorado.

Yeah, 2 stores in the Springs have them too and you know I immidaiately went to the closest store, which just happens to be 2 minutes away and I was able to get 1 of each, but they did have have 2 of each.

I called a few stores that claimed to have them via the Target website. I was told at the Glendale store by an idiot that they didn't get any, even though the site said so, and 10 minutes later it said "sold out." The Southwest Plaza store had one of each already on hold for someone and no extras. Finally I was able to have one put on hold at another Target. Apparently someone beat me to that one too and snagged the other one. I'm not sure if it's the Conquest or the Rattler, as I didn't ask.

It seems to me like some of you have found them this morning. Hopefully it's you guys and not the scalpers.

Ok, you guys are going to hate me before this is done. But, I drive to the Glendale Target, only 2 minutes away, and get there at 7:55 a.m. I see someone walking in the rain as I sit in my car. He's there first. Then the car next to me has some guy burst out and run to the door behind the first guy. I walk up and accept that I'm in third place.

I take a closer look and realize that number one is TheRac25, who posts in this thread. The doors open and he walks to the toys. The second guy walks in the aisles and keeps a cool eye on TheRac25. I watch both of them and refuse to race to the action figure aisle. I get there and see TheRac25 walk out with two planes. Second guy hits the Hot Wheels but checks in the action figure aisle to see if any of the Star Wars figs were touched.

I pick up my Conquest and Rattler and head to the register happily. I hit a couple more Targets, 'cause what the hell else am I going to do at 8:00 a.m. on a rainy morning, and score a couple more planes.

Oh, and stumble across the new Marvel Legends figs at the Havana Target store. I don't buy those but when did those things go up to $15? I also saw them on the west side off of Wadsworth and Bowling.

Speaking of which, I noticed that a lot of toys have jumped in price, including the Star Wars figs and comic packs.

Hey, I didn't mean to imply that you raced. You walked. I saw. I wanted to race but I thought you got there first fair and square. Also, I didn't want to be THAT guy. But the Hotwheels dude was keeping a close eye on you. I could tell he was freaking out as you got closer to the toys.

I was in Fort Fun (Ft Collins) visiting family and found the jets at the Super Target there. While I was there I had them check other stores and it looks like a bunch of stores across the front range got them too. Wahoo! I cancelled my pre-order. Today is much better than Mid-November!

I have a vintage Rattler that I paid alot for on Ebay so I am really only interested in the Conquest as I never had that. I figure it wont be too hard to find?

My Rattler is missing one of the "Renegade" bombs. I called Hasbro and the woman said because it is a Target exclusive they don't make or carry any of the parts and my only option would be to return it to Target and exchange for another one.
