if anyone's still looking for the DG series ive been seeing some lately

pulaski highway DG by the hardees and buffalo wildwings had a ton of shipwrecks.
salem church rd by the dunkin doughnuts and wawa had cobra commander shipwreck snake eyes and storm shadow

Yeah y'alls I don't think were going to see the repaints any day soon. All 11 of the DGs in the general north east all still have series 1 in abundance. They won't order more until the pegs get cleared. I don't have any need nor the extra income to purchase all those extra figures. I have been checking the Marshalls and TJ Maxxs around the State and in PA and haven't seen a single Joe since the ROC figures like 2 years ago.

It's been really dry around here huh? No stores are restocking and when they stocked for the movie release they got what 1 maybe 2 cases since then if any at all? Oh well my wallet likes the break.

it's not just us i was in NJ over the weekend and they had jack all too.

I think for the first time I am going to order the entire Wave 3 from BBTS when they go up for pre-order. I just don't trust the retailers around here to get more than one case and then be done, especially knowing you two are circling vultures like myself for the scraps they throw out for us, ha! Seriously though I absolutely loved the thrill of the hunt when I got back into this hobby but the years of wasted time, gas and coming up empty handed too many times has taken it's toll on me. I just don't think I have the fight left in me to compete for 1 or 2 cases that hit this entire state... I'll never understand why a store that sells through stock of a particular product the day they put it out almost every time wouldn't order more? The debate wages on here on the Tank about distribution woes and everyone has a theory but all I know is simple economics says if the demand is there then the company should supply the product to fill the demand... Seems like lost dollars to me...

Anyone have any luck finding the DG repaints yet? I cleared the shelves at a few DGs and all they got were 2 from the original set. Like someone said in a thread it does appear true DG has gone the way of Walgreens and is splitting up the cases at a regional warehouse and sending 2 per store.

nothing on wave two yet...i keep popping in DG to see even though im not as into them as i was wave one

i am with you on the woes of coming up empty handed. i check christiana TRU about every friday and walgreens at least once a week and i'm more shocked when i see something even if have it. more amazed that somethings actually there. i ordered a wave 3 case and i have no regrets even thought theres like 2 or 3 figures in the wave i wasn't originally gonna get the fact that they're so hard to find here and in NJ were i visit family once a month or so is always so barren makes the purchase easier based on hassle alone.

i can't say ive given up on "the hunt" since i may pick up a troop builder or two if i see them but most figures i figure i'll just never see in the wild.

oh and i dont wanna hear anything about circling vultures i think you're the only guy in DE to get that renegades storm shadow ya buzzard
