[Shin Densetsu]

The cobra pack display for the 2nd set is well done. I wish Storm Shadow and Cobra Commander 04 were more than just repaints. As it is, they are decent, the pack is good and the jump trooper has good additions. Its a good army building set. Cobra Commander would have been phenomenal and more accurate with one shoulder cape, skirt, holster/belt with removable pistol, etc.

Red ninja looks just like a repaint to me, but the new weapon addition is nice. Zartan has full range of motion on the hips, check out the pics and you can see it clearly. Lady Jaye is way better than the original. Serpentor is great.

Good eyes Shin Densetsu. I hope they do this with all the figures going forward. Zartan looks like he has the best articulation so far.

I also agree with you on the battle pack. I would like to see your ideas for Cobra Commander used but my main complaint with that repaint is the silver hands. They look out of place on those gloves. I can live with it and plan on buying the set eventually.

Agreed. Maybe if we get a CG, that can be used as the basis for a Commander based on his comic book appearance. That would be nice.

It's actually a new head! Check out the pics over at cooltoyreview.com. The new sculpt has sort of points on either side of the head; very close to Marvel issue 21. Looks like Firefly is in fact a new head sculpt, too... I think.

Is Hasbro actually showing those last 10 figures at SDCC? GIJoeclub.com has Hasbro saying they'll only be showing Wave 2 and 3. Did I miss something?

I think we will see them. Tonight was only preview night. There is more to come including the panels.

Looks like you were right man, its reminscent of the fitted hood look that the first Storm shadow figure had in 84 and in the comic.

Well im very happy with the look of them and oh man do i love the gear on some of them. As soon as they hit retail expect to see some more O-ring customs out of them. Some of my customs like my BH will have new gear.
Now why is hasbro doing customs thats our job lol. but i bet we see some of them next year.
