I disagree, based on previous Kickstarters I?ve been a part of. I think the total cost stays the same (no refund), but they will add more figures (read that as doubles of any that were released in the KS, your choice) to reflect the same ?cost per figure? as seen in the 6 figure package.
I am currently at the All-In level, but may drop down to a lower tier in the final few hours. If you want ALL the unique characters (and no doubles) offered, All-In will likely be your best bet. Unlocking 10 figures should be expected by the last day?s end. Best thing to do is message the creator through KS or wait for him to chime in here. ;) |

Looks like I'm late to the party. I kind of tuned out for a while shortly after the Skystriker campaign died down, as that kind of drained my wallet and tracking the crowdfunding was stressful (lol, I needed a break) and I didn't realize how much Callsign Longbow had grown in terms of concept and the amount of characters... I remember it being pretty rudimentary when I last checked it out.
I've never done a Kickstarter before, so I've been reading through all the details to understand how it works. Initially I thought about ding the 4 figure option, then the 6, and now I'm thinking about the "all in" option, but I'm a little confused by the wording and exactly what you get if the campaign doesn't reach the amount of figures to justify the "all in" price... so I was hoping someone could help me understand that a little better. Please correct me if I'm wrong, but from what I understand, if you get the "all in", you get every figure that is released/unlocked up until the campaign closes. Someone estimated that 10 figures would need to be unlocked to be equivalent to the cost of "all in", and if less than 10 figures are released, Callsign Longbow will include additional figures to make up the number of figures to be equivalent to the "all in" cost (but at the cost of the 6 figure tire per figure)? Also, do we know what the potential additional figures will be for the "all in"? If they will be multiples of the figures that were already released during that campaign, or if they will include figures that will not be release until after the campaign? Hope my questions made sense, as I'm a little confused. I'm all about o-ring, so this is really cool, and I want to support it, but I just need some clarity. Jason |

Thank you for explainin, but I'm still a bit confused, because Force28x said this: "As posted earlier, we will make sure the All-In backers get their money's worth. The value will be AT LEAST as good a deal per figure as the Six Pack (so basically additional figure choices will be included).
Personally, I hope we unlock enough figures that it won't be an issue!" This makes it sound like they will not refund you, but will add "additional figures" to make up the cost difference. Am I missing something? Keep in mind that most Kickstarters have a big surge in backers on the final day as the wait-and-see crowd jump in at the last minute. Also, if you get antsy and decide that the all-in package isn't worth it to you, you may choose to lower your pledge to a lesser package before the Kickstarter ends. If by chance the Kickstarter is successful enough to unlock more than 10 figures, the all-in option (which will not change price) becomes the best value to get everything. I doubt money will be refunded. KS takes something like 10% of the raised funds. I think you'll just be able to pick and choose duplicates.

Depending on how many figures unlock, the All-In sometimes works out to be the best deal cost wise. This Kickstarter doesn't seem to have the momentum that the Marauder's Vietnam KS did, but with that KS those of us who got in on the first round of All-In packages got the best deal price wise per figure!

My understanding is that there will not be any refunds. If the Kickstarter does not unlock enough stretch goals to meet the all-in price (which is worth 10 figures at $25 each), they will allow you to select duplicates (the "additional figures") of any of the items that did unlock to make up the equivalent value. This might be appealing if you wish to army-build the bad guys, or if you'd like to keep one copy of a figure carded and one copy loose.
I'm curious as to how likely a big surge in buyers there will be at the end? I remember there was a huge surge at the end of the Skystriker Haslab, but I think that's a different ballgame considering the inclusion of substantial orders from international and stores, the failure of the Roncor and people jumping ship, and being that GI Joe is just a lot more established... All the different tiers say that you can purchase additional unlocks individually, but is that within the limits of the KS campaign, or can you still purchase them after the campaign deadline? Edit: I figured out that you see the shipping costs when you select the pledge. Last edited by Katana78; 05-19-2022 at 02:49 PM.. |

Alright, I went ahead and backed the 3rd All in. I figured I can edit my pledge later if need be.

I would agree. Expect the current total to easily double by the end.
