Well for at least 10% of the country(myself included) it's 0.

I'm sad to hear that pal and believe me when I say that it's very hard here too, but personally I can't complain right now. I hope you can get a job ASAP.

Well, the situation it's different.
For example: people around here usually have 20-50 pesos (roughly 5-15 bucks) in their pockets. Rarely 100 pesos (25 bucks) or more, that usually happens when you're thinking on waste some money. So, if you happen to cross some RoC figures casually, you're usually not able to buy it, not even the half of it. Even if you're casually walking around with friends, you'll still not be able to buy a fig asking them for money. For comparisons: -With 10 pesos (2-3 bucks) you can go to the market, and buy something to eat (a good breakfast for example, for two-three people) -With 20 pesos (5 bucks more or less), you can go out with your friends and have two beers, and take the bus back home. -With 50 pesos (15 bucks more or less), you can invite a girl to dinner, (a good dinner not spaghetti and beer) you paying everything. -With 100 pesos , you buy the food for month if single, half if living with someone, a third if you also have one kid. -With 100 pesos (a joe), well, you buy a toy and walk the long trip home, or beg for some coins on the street. Basically, just combine whatever you want the three previous examples, to make an idea what you're missing for a single figure. I also would like to add that 2000 pesos, as stated before by Cobra Invasor, is a good standard salary. Most of the population makes 1200-1500 pesos monthly (and even more people earn less), duplicating if a couple lives thogether sharing the bills and both working.

Wow, and I thought the prices here in Chile were ridiculous. Still, it sucks to collect in south america.
In Chile: ROC singles are around 15usd Alpha class vehicles are 45usd Bravo class vehicles are 80usd It's definitely cheaper to buy online and have it shipped here. In Chile taxes are about 33% over what you paid for your order. So just a tiny bit better than Argentina, but still horrible. I remember back in the 80s when I could just go to Brazil or Argentina and buy the joes made there really cheap. |

Hey any of you guys from other countries who need help getting stuff at better prices find a "shopping buddy" someone in the US who will get stuff for you. Get Paypal, send him the cash and have him buy and ship. At the prices you guys are quoting even with shipping you would save quite abit. Check feedback to make sure the guy you are doing this with is reputable. And hey, throw him a bone or two for helping you out.
Oh and Cobra Venom, nice avatar and welcome to the tank! I think I'm gonna need one once the city strike snake eyes comes out lol!! |

Hi to all
I live in Turkey and we just recieved Roc vehicles and figures. Single figures = 10$ alpha Vehicles = 20$ Bravo Vehicles = 33$ Night raven = 50$ no The Pit:( Also if we buy from overseas we pay no customs for toys under 100 euros. and only 10% customs excluding shipping 100-1500 euros.

And I thought we have it bad here in terms of prices. RoC figures sell here for 450 Philippine pesos, roughly $9.50.
Of course, as our Argentine friend pointed out, it's about the cost-to-salary ratio. In numbers it may look big, but if it's just a small part of, say, one's monthly take-home income (after taxes and other deductions), it may not be that hard to swallow. |
