Thought I'd have to boil this bigger piece, but hair dryer worked.

That’s the first thing I thought of when I saw the Bazooka with the Cobra Trooper. That paint set looks expensive 💸

A big thank you to those of you who are pushing this new figure to it's limits with the dissections and for documenting the results for us all. Those customs look great. I had thought about trying rit dye synthetic for a quick Snake Eyes, but given the softness of the plastic I feel that may not be the way to go, as the plastic may warp. I attempted to dye a set of 50th Gung Ho legs to give more motion to the retro Roadblock, and the upper thighs warped so badly that they no longer fit back together.

The paint set is usually $130 on Amazon. At the time Amazon Prime had it for $115. Then I had a $50 gift card from Amazon Prime so I saved quite a bit. Plus, I love this paint. Dries fast. Bonds well to the figures. Lots of color shades without having to mix paint.

I know the discussion lately has been focused on analysis, adaption, and celebration of this successful figure(Stalker) which Hasbro has given us, but I had to share this for it's absurdity.
Trying to get the new Stalker and Cobra Trooper I had blindly ordered the retro assortment from a local store when it appeared on brickseek. The items were only available for delivery, but one figure was delayed. Cobra Commander arrived in the first shipment and today I received the second figure I ordered. It was no surprise to me that it was Duke, but I find the delivery packaging to be hilarious.

Another thing I love about this paint is that they are in little plastic squeeze bottles so you can measure out how much paint to use drop by drop. The Testors I was using before was from Hobby Lobby in the glass jars and screw on lids.

Just found a case of W4 this am!!! Stalker does look good!!! His proportions are acceptable. The plastic feels real soft. I really like the BFS neck system.
