By some miracle I finally found a Lady Jaye at Walmart... I was the second person there I think, so thanks to the 1st person for not buying all the Lady Jayes.
Anyway... IMO a good alt head for Retro Lady Jaye is MU 80's Rogue... just pull out the mohawk. The head plops on perfectly and then just chop off the hat that came with the original head and hollow it out enough to fit on the new head. Because of the hair in the back the head can't move up or down though. The Rogue head really matches with the card art IMO. I did this before with the 2 pack Lady Jaye that comes with Baroness that is the same mold as this one, but that one had a more yellowish skin tone... Retro Lady Jaye's skin tone is almost a perfect match for the Rogue MU head. |

Well, I don’t want it.
The card art doesn’t match the figure.😜

It’s kinda half and half. None of that jive matters to guys building their armies to their specs.
Their on their own deadline. And free to their imagination. ... But customizers who sell are on deadlines, and have to meet customer satisfaction with each one built. Lots of variables into that: creating what the customer wants, are they letting you have 50,60,70% free range of your imagination, do they have an idea of what they want? Just to name a few. It's really hard to see the inside of Hasbro right now and understand how challenged they are by resources, by the pandemic (messing up supply chains in production and distribution), and by the pandemic delaying the film's release and the overall release strategy. I can only speculate what I think the causes are, but the two realities consumers can largely agree on are (a) line development, distribution, and acquisition is extremely haphazard, and (b) Hasbro's silence on the issue leads to more concern than comfort.

If the panorama never happened, what would have been the excuse for the movie delay and distribution problems? You know it would have happened.

I found 2 cases of W3 on 2/10. I found a Duke and a CC about 2 weeks after that. Haven't seen anything new in about a month now. The WM app hasn't shown any new stock for about a month too.
I think it has dried up.

The only figure I never found in the wild was Scarlett. WM came through with my pre-orders of her though. I still bought her off eBay to get her sooner then later. Had to get that head and legs for my custom.

I have seen one Duke and one Snake Eyes in the wild between four different Walmarts, two of which I visit very frequently. The HISS is the only other item from the retro line I've seen. I've purchased five now (three for me, two for my boys).
West Michigan must be some kind of blackhole for toys. I'm always amazed by what I hear people find in stores in other states.
