I like the DATD Flint legs too for Duke. The proportions are better. I totally agree with Zap on the MCC figures. The forearms were terrible too. They barely hit 90°, and you have to slide them back to get them to almost 90.
I wonder if this Retro Duke will peg warm worse than ROC Arctic Destro? |

Please note that I have removed the W3 Duke WM link as I cannot in clear conscience promote that figure.

Would the Going Go legs work on the RoC desert ambush Duke torso? It’s shorter than the Dusty one, so might be more balanced height wise.

Well, I just got an e-mail that my 2 Baroness figures that I ordered about a week or so ago, that were supposedly in stock, have been canceled. WTF?

I imagine it's because they sent them to me instead to fulfill my cancelled preorders...smh. If I get two decent ones in (not all beat to hell and crushed), I can let you know.

Hey thanks. I don't need a clean card though.

The current design obviously and unfortunately do not have a history with the previous line. I have to believe they thought the 50th 3pack repack was up to date tooling and sculpting, since it was released in the later 50th line, without understanding that it was a repack of an early set with outdated sculpts for its time of release. I believe Mark Weber's thought during 50th was that the original DVD pack got limited release in the wild, and fit their limited production budget. But I think he would admit it wasn't the best idea for that 50th run, and would absolutely not let it happen again for the current Retro line.
I think "lazy" might not be the best way to describe this (though Bobby Vala does end conceding to using the term)--but the word ends up being...the most polite, oddly |

I keep hoping they will see the backlash and reverse their decision on Duke but I seriously doubt it.

The way they’ve been showing things relative to their release I’m sure the containers are already on the water.
