Well I think there are some sets we can eliminate now from the list. I think the hint either means Arctic set or cold of space.

I think it's safe to eliminate the following:
DEF
Plaque
Mega Marines
Red Shadows

I also feel the club doesn't have enough parts to pull off star brigade.

It is the 30th anniversary of GI Joe The Movie.

Cold Slither battle of the bands box set! One side is a set of repainted dreadnoks with a Zartan with some new tooling and the other would be the Joe band of Duke, Shipwreck, Footloose and Rock n Roll with a few new tooled parts for Scarlett, lady Jaye and Cover Girl as the back up singers and the instruments.

Bet it's DEF and those cold calculating troopers are Bats!
I actually hope it's BF2000 versus Worms and some other heavy weapons troopers though.

If it was DEF the Cobras would be Headhunters which wouldn't make sense with the hint.

With the Arctic Mindbender, Pythona, and now Big Lob for our 2017 figure, I think the 1987 Movie Set for this year's Con is a safe bet.
