Wow, I think this is the first time I have seen a thread about the movie that doesn't have even one comment about how crappy people think it's gonna be. There was actually 3 consecutive comments about people actually LOOKING FORWARD to the movie!!! Could this mean that people are actually willing to give the movie a fair shot and just be happy that a live action Joe movie is being made at all? Look in the sky....are those pigs flying??? Does anyone else see them? ;)

Poor guy; as cool as they try to make him look on the cover of that magazine he will always be the kid for 3rd Rock to me. LOL. And somehow I doubt ROC is going to do anything to change that either. LOL.

Kinda funny you mention it. I was going to comment that the cover actually does look like someone that could be Cobra Commander. The "Everyman" that's just had enough. Add in a hefty dose of megalomania, and season with sociopathic behavior to taste....

The last three movies Shia Lebeouf starred/co-starred in have pulled in a combined 1.6 billion dollars worldwide. Steven Spielberg has a soft-spot for him, and his next film is likely going to make at least another half a billion worldwide. Shia Lebeouf is on one of the hottest "streaks" in Hollywood right now, and TF2 is only going to raise that profile even further. He might not be "traditional rugged leading man" material, but people seem to like him nonetheless. |
