Those are all Click N Play (World Peacekeepers) pieces.
I always just assumed they were re-sells, but I would not know one way or the other

He got the license or permission or whatever to use the molds from that line. You'll see a lot of the World Peacekeepers stuff littered around the site if you look hard enough.

The Quad is about half the size of Cobra's Ferret and a much more realistic size for a 1:18th scale quad. The Bikes were slightly smaller than a Ram from what I remember. Both fit Oring and ME Joes fine. |

I'm sure this has been discussed already, but on the newest line of headsculpts, what's the purpose of the grooves on the underside of the chin?

They're key-holds to steady the head for accurate painting. I'm not well-informed about action figure painting as a subset of industrial painting for industrial manufacturing; but I imagine the heads are each popped onto a steel rod with an MTF neck ball at the working end, with a ridge across the top the neck slot pops onto.
I imagine there's a series of these steel pegs, in whatever multiple the machine can accomodate - we could probably guess this by the number of each type of head in each supply drop. I imagine the heads are looking up with the slots locking them in place to ensure the eyes get painted instead of the foreheads and cheeks, facing away from the operator in the 'fat porcelain titty' type of tampo-printing seen at :25secs here,: https://www.youtube.com/watch?app=desktop&v=y766nFmaCgo Last edited by Ozymandias13; 03-12-2024 at 02:22 PM.. |

Speaking of ordering stuff from Marauderinc.com; holy crap:
'Thank you for placing your order! Your order number is 99969.' We're about to bust 100,000 orders. Somebody should get a freebie coupon code or somesuch. |
