We always have a bin of heads that you can select from when you buy a body...which ones will be in there - I cannot say which ones this time. We cannot bring everything that is in stock...so John makes a plan and that is what we bring.

Sticker sheet - maybe - but I wouldn't bet on it. We have not usually had sticker sheets.

Nice update to wake up to this morning!! You guys attending JoeFest in Atlanta are in for a nice surprise!
For those of you who didn't back the Kickstarter and can't see the update yet; here's a run down with my thoughts. 1. SWIVEL THIGH ARTICULATION!! What????!!!! 2. The paint masters revealed in the Update are (A) US Army Rifleman, (B) Marine M60 Gunner, (C) Green Beret, (D) MP & K9, (E) Tunnel Rat, (F) WW2 US Airborne, and (G) WW2 German Paratrooper. 3. The last pic in the update, to me, is the best because you see the figures laying together, which makes for an easier comparisons. 4. It's hard to tell, but thus far, it looks like all the Vietnam US figures share the same thighs and knees (at least). The MP, Tunnel Rat, and US Marine look like they have the same calves; while the Army Rifleman and Green Beret have the same calves. 5. US Army Rifleman - The sculpt is amazing! Lots of wrinkles in the clothing. The side thigh pockets extend just a bit up on the swivel thigh piece that connects to the pelvis T-bar - pretty cool design!. Solid Olive Green color. It looks like the Cigarette Pack and Bug Repellent are molded onto the helmet with a molded helmet band, rather than being separate accessories. Not sure how the bandolier connects/wraps, but hopefully it has a long enough strap to fit diagonal across the chest and not just around the waist. Generic head sculpt with brown hair. Helmet, web gear, bandolier and scarf are pictured, but not on the figure. 6. Marine M60 Gunner - Upper torso has a very BFS-chiseled muscles look to it. This torso is going to make a nice Roadblock and/or Gung-Ho. The head sculpt, to me, has a very Anthony Mackie look to it. Flak vest looks to be a shade lighter than the pants, but that could just be the lighting. Flak vest has nice sculpt with plenty of wrinkles. Flak vest and helmet are the only accessories revealed thus far. 7. Green Beret - the head sculpt is AMAZING! There is no doubt that this is the Duke. Same body (except biceps) as the Army Rifleman. Biceps have sleeves rolled up higher, just like the mock-up and digital drawing. The tiger-stripe camo is AWESOME! Camo pattern is Olive Green background, black tiger stripes outlined in yellow-green, and it looks like there are splashes of tan (mud?) thrown in some areas. Shown with beret that has badge/flash painted on. No other accessories shown. 8. Tunnel Rat - This figure is a Contractor-Ops upper body with Marine waist & legs. The headband is sculpted, not removeable. Definitely has the Platoon "Chris" Sheen look to the sculpt. In the last pic, there is a bald-headed (Brando?) head sculpt. Not sure if it comes with the WW2 Airborne or Tunnel Rat. Only accessory shown is a pistol. 9. MP & K9 - Nice tucked-in shirt torso, not too many wrinkles along with US Marine lower body. It's hard to tell if the arm band is molded/sculpted or is removeable. I'd bet it's removeable since the MP and Drill Instructor share the same upper body design in the mock-ups and digital models. To me, the head sculpt has a little bit of "Mad Max" vibes going on. The K9 is an updated paint job to the existing sculpt. Has the typical German Shepherd brown-black fur. Looks a lot like my pet German Shepherd Mazikeen! Last pic shows leashes and growling head sculpt. 10. WW2 Airborne - Sculpt and colors are true to the digital model. Gloves are a yellow-green color. Nice sculpting not a lot of wrinkles. I still might use the torso for a Tiger Force Duke custom. Only accessory shown is the helmet. 11. WW2 German Paratrooper - I am the least interested in this figure. The head sculpt is cool and very true to the digital model. The camo pattern is very sharp and angular, not air brushed like mock-up and digital model. I'm not sure which is more true to the real-life look. Figure comes with 2 sets of fore arms (gloves and no gloves). Bandolier and helmet are also shown. Sculpt looks great if your a WW2 fan. I'm not, so this will be a figure I either customize or trade. Can't wait to see more pics from JoeFest. All of ya'll attending, be sure to post your pics here! Jason

Only backed for a nominal amount due to the UK shipping issue, but got the email update as well today.
The Green Beret figure in particular is awesome. I'll have to sort some of order when these get in the MGR store and use a mail forwarding service to the the UK. |

The new ankles are another nice addition, even if I don't pose my figs actively enough to need them.

I also love the way they've sculpted the collar of the OG shirt. It almost makes the OG shirt and the undershirt look like two pieces. Other bits of info for those who can't see the update: 1. The US web gear has plug holes for accessories on each side of the upper shoulder straps and at least 4 (probably 5 or 6) holes around the belt. 2. The Marine flak vest doesn't show any plug holes in the front, and it looks like it snaps together in the front with a vertical flap hiding the connecting points. 3. From some photos I found on Google, it looks like the square-edged, angular camo pattern of the WW2 German Paratrooper is actually closer to the real-life version. 4. The bottom skirt piece of the WW2 German Paratrooper has me a bit perplexed it looks almost like shorts as a separate piece that fits over the legs. 5. As mentioned above, the WW2 US Airborne head sculpt definitely has some Di Nero "Taxi Driver" vibes going on. 6. Since the Tunnel Rat is sort of a kit-bash of the Contractor-Ops upper body with the Marine legs, I'm wondering if the bald head sculpt in the group pic is simply a Brynner head they are throwing in as an extra. 7. Also, looking at the group photo, maybe it's just a shadow, but it looks like the WW2 US Paratrooper has two different head sculpts. The one in the group photo with the helmet on looks like it has hair around the front of the ears. Jason |

Some questions I have moving forward, since we haven't seen pics yet:
1. Will the US Marine Rifleman arms be different or the same as the SEAL/LRRP arms? SEAL/LRRP mock-ups show pockets on the biceps, but the Marine does not. Doesn't bother me if they are the same, just curious. 2. Will the SEAL figures have a unique torso with the collar buttoned high? I'm hoping for a unique torso on this one. 3. Will the LRRP figures have a unique torso or utilize either the US Army Rifleman or Marine/MP/Drill Sgt torso? Doesn't bother me either way. 4. Will all standard Army & Marine figures utilize the same thighs and knees? I'm guessing they will, with three different calf sculpts (Army, Marines, and LRRP). 5. Since the Tunnel Rat figure now has the headband sculpted to the head, will the LRRP Claymore (Sgt Elias) also have the headband sculpted? Jason |
