I revised my MTF Beachhead with new legs and noticed the torso ball joint is borderline very loose.

After struggling to put a MTF M-4 into a tight MTF hand, I noticed the butt was bent upwards several degrees. I bent it back, but was surprised since I thought these were rigid ABS. I'm going to be mindful to order only pieces that don't have thin parts like where the butt connects to the rifle main body.

On a related note, though, I have noticed that the figures' hands have gotten a bit more stiff and less flexible the last couple years. Like the factory is using a slightly different material formula. Occasionally I'll even see a little stress discoloration on some of the ungloved hands. Nothing's broken yet, at least. I have mentioned this to MJ, but I'm not sure if anything's come of it yet. Might be worth mentioning this too if you guys are running into issues.

The M-4 geared up butt wasn't only bent up, it was twisted a bit. No idea if it got like that in mail transit.
Any thoughts on the WWII German soldier? Thinking about trying to make Char Aznable with a blonde Ivan head. Needs some sort of black shoulder pauldrons. Maybe a cape. Suitable white helmet with "U" on the forehead and where you could glue a transparent visor. |
