I guess this means the chap mei/animal planet dinosaur type sets are doing well to get hasbro in on something similar.

I wouldnt mind movie based characters, more than those Joes that were leaked from china. They could use Joe parts, but making movie characters. It would be cool to get Dr Alan Grant, Dr Ellie Satler, John Hammond, Dr Ian Malcolm, Robert Muldoon, Denis Nedry, etc. I think Hasbro have some good Joe parts nowadays to make these characters look great.

How about a JoeCon set next year with actual Joe characters in dino-hunting attire? Dinos are already canon in the Joe universe based on the Sunbow episode that Crichton ripped off for Jurassic Park.
42 Primordial Plot Donald F. Glut November 12, 1985 #600-43 Cobra kidnaps a scientist who has discovered how to clone dinosaurs. They bring them to life on a hidden island, and the Joes might escape the reptiles to rescue the scientist. |

Stoked at this news but not for new potential Joes, rather for new dinos that will be in scale with the ones from the prior movies!
Given that Hasbro has overall shied away from making large toys I doubt we'll get another T-Rex or Spinosaurus to scale but wouldn't mind that Allosaurus like the prototype we saw a few months ago. |

Great news! Especially if the line yields figures like we've previously seen. And maybe we'll get some new vehicles.

I hope they work on giving us better, and sometimes newer tooling for the molds, and not just offer us 100% frankensteined Joe figures with a JP stamp on them. I would hope for some new head molds, perhaps some new gear, etc. If all they do is rearrange GI Joe figures, I won't have too much interest in it.
