Just one of a few surprises to be revealed.

Someone mentioned that Kreons have twice as much articulation or something. Not in the slightest. They have a waist swivel where minifigs do not. Their arms have slightly more articulation being on a ball joint, but that's negligable. It doesn't offer that much more than a simple swivel and feels like it will break if not being careful with it.
I told myself that I wouldn't buy Kreo G.I. JOE if my life depended on it. Now that it's actually happening, though, I may end up eating those words. I'll wait to see what the sets look like before judging. If the Kreons look as bad as the ones from TF or BS I may be passing on them. Lego figures' arms move up and down. Kreons' arms move up down, left and right, etc. Okay, maybe not technically twice as much when you take the swivel wrists into consideration, but regardless, you can get a much better range of poses out of a Kreon.

I LOVE the Transformers Kreons, but the human ones that came with the sets, not so much. They just didn't have the, I dunno, style I guess. Panache. Je ne sais quoi. But seriously, the Transformers Kreons looked good, but something about the humans was lacking. I hope that's not the case with the GI Joe characters too.

My thoughts exactly, DPrime. In particular, Shockwave and Prowl look awesome. I can't stand the humans, though. Their facial expressions look ridiculous, and their arms are too skinny. All of mine are hidden away in a box.

I don't mind it, however I can see where you guys are coming from as I did notice this with the Battleship Kreon set I bought. I like Kreons and I think it's about darn time Hasbro made GI Joe KreO. Out of all their brands I think GI Joe is the one that can be explored to the fullest for KreO. I just hope the KreOns are made better as some of mine have loose shoulders, and stress marks on the hand/wrist sockets and legs. |

If they make Kreons for Serpentor, Golobulus, or Nemesis Enforcer, my wallet's going to kick me in the head after emptying it. |

I'm down with ALL of these. Short of them being neon color tanks I'm getting everything.
Imagine a HISS Tank, Rattler, or Fang. While I suspect, as often happens here, all the "not getting them" turns into "okay I broke down". It would make it easier to find and buy them all. Can't wait. |

I had to google wtf Kreons are.
For once i'm happy we don't get this. Either i'm blind, or everyone is insane, or simply desperate for something Joe (or everything thogether) because i don't see the appeal of this :P But, to each his own. .

Do not want...
...will not buy. I just wish Hasbro would put their efforts into the core Joe line instead of side items like Kre-o and those mini-Joe things they debuted at the Convention. BTW, if other people like this stuff, and I know they do, that's totally cool, It's just not for me. |
