ANyone think ROC could possibly be the next Star Wars type of Movie. I mean if enough younglings enjoy ROC then we could possibly see an animated series spin off. Obviously it wont be as big as the Star wars brand but it certainly could be along those lines. Then a second movie with some more animated follow ups, etc. I think if this movie is done right it could happen, especailly with hasbro having theri own network soon.

There will be without a doubt a new Joe cartoon. If the movie does well, it'll be RoC inspired, if the movie doesn't it'll be something else (and I doubt Resolute, it'll be something designed for the kid market).
I wouldn't expect to see any animated Joe on the big screen, they'll probably be a live-action sequel or two.

hopefully if they do a joe cartoon its not all goofy and block animation...but REALISTIC looking and nto cgi..but regular cell animation. I dunno about anyone else but im tired of these impreportionate carttons that dont look realistic preportionate and animation wise. Even my buddy's kids dont like the style cause, as his kids say" they dont look real"

The next clone wars?
My gut reaction is to say no but you honestly never know what kids are going to like from one day to the next. SW was and continues to be very popular amongst the "younglings" and I doubt that this will change in the near future. We'll know for sure next month when we see how the movie fairs with the youngsters. |

As long as they keep the ROC line going and I don't have to start over with animated style ones , that would be great!

Honestly i could see that happening. I wouldn't be surprised if a ROC cartoon is already in the works just in case...

Whoa, I made a refrence of what the prequels did for Star Wars in seperate threads and it spawned it's own. Cool.
It's about kids and their reaction. Tranformers got a new cartoon and so did Star Wars (a new live action show on the way too). So if Star Wars can get two shows. One for a young audience and one for an older audience why can't G.I.Joe do they same? RoC on Saturday mornings and Resolute at night? Toy lines for both could still exist as well also looking at the Star Wars and Transformers lines. Star Wars have classic and cartoon styles for figures. Transformers has 3 lines out there. Movie/Toon/Classic. |
