yeah that's right. I didn't realize they had bought marvel. They SHOULD buy Hasbro as part of their 4 Billion Star wars deal and just go ahead and get the toy company as well.

But as I recall, George Lucas sold back most of his stock in Hasbro prior to the Disney buyout (or maybe even earlier than that...I know at one point he was a major shareholder in the company but that a lot of it got sold back to Hasbro). It's not out of the realm of possibility that Disney might one day buy Hasbro, but at this point it's not even really necessary. Marvel and Star Wars hits the "young/teen boys" segment that they wanted just fine, and tends to blow Paramount/Hasbro away in terms of big-screen and merchandising grosses. At this point Disney would be buying Hasbro just for the sake of buying it...it doesn't really fill any need they have as a company, except for maybe giving them a pet toy manufacturer that they might not even want (since they can get other people to pay them for the rights to make their toys and therefore don't have to take any risk themselves on it). Well, that and they'd get My Little Pony, G.I. Joe, and Transformers. Magic: The Gathering and Dungeons and Dragons too. Now THERE'S a weird image...Disney owning Dungeons and Dragons. I really like the Rock, but I agree. It's hard to think about Roadblock and GI Joe when you're looking at the Rock. Bruce Willis was the exact same problem. Their identities are just too overpowering.

To me the Rock is just a member of Gi joe, like Slaughter was. Marvin Hinton is Roadblock, the Rock is weight trainer and went ahead and got Ranger qualified because peoples elbow.
And Since I don't have a Slaughter? The Rock's Renegades!. Which Kwinn is a member of for some reason.
