"I was disappointed to hear that GIJOE Retaliation had its release date changed to 2013. I understand these thing happen but it seemed a very odd choice, especially with a trailer already running in theaters and a marketing campaign in full effect. The public forgets very quickly in this day and age. I am curious what prompted the decision to revert back to the original premise of filming in 3D when that decision was cast out almost a year ago before production began. Today's announcement created a flurry of internet action and commentary. The largest percentage not positive towards the change.
If there is any way to keep the film on schedule for 2012 I and many others would like to see that happen. Thank You"

"Dear Paramount,
How could you? Go ahead and use your fancy market research. Consult your overpriced team of industry experts. We know more than you ever will about the movie business. We certainly know more than Hasblow does about making toys. We're telling you what we want, YOU JUST WON'T LISTEN!!!! When we all said we'd love a live action movie, we meant using the exact script from The M.A.S.S. Device. When we said we'd buy more o-ring figures, we meant o-ring figures that look exactly like modern era figures. When we said we'd buy 10 Skystrikers, we didn't mean a single seat Failstriker. When we said we'd support online exclusives, we meant if ROSS had a website. And now you delay the sequel. The reboot we asked for. That we demanded be perfect, that screened well with non-GI Joe fans, that would open up GI Joe for a new generation, and NOW YOU DARE DELAY IT TO MAKE IT BETTER? If you would just LISTEN to us, you'd be successful. Sincerely, Hisstank"

I would like to express my displeasure with the decision to push back this Major Summer Blockbuster, G.I. Joe Retaliation. The most highly anticipated movie this year for a large number of people. The footage so far looked great and there were hopes of igniting interest in this beloved franchise.
So pushing it back for 3D is a very bad decision. I will be going to see this movie in regular 2D when it is finally released and I would encourage others to do so as well. People do have a choice. Unfortunately, that may prove costly for Paramount.
