Anyone know where I can find a good, empty version of it for my own collection pictures, or point me in a decent direction on how to make one in Photoshop?

grab an image from online of a cardback or old art and use photoshop to eliminate the character in front of the explosion by a combination of cutting and pasting the visible parts of the explosion and using the clone tool. it is extremely simple to do if you know how to use photoshop, which I am assuming you do if you have the program.

or you can get a scan of the canadian 25th wave 5 card that had the explosion with no artwork infront of it. It may not be exactly like the originals but it's gotta be a LOT easier than copy and pasting little segments

even with the Canadian cards, you would have to do a little of it I believe to fix the edges. Last edited by gunslingercbr; 03-09-2010 at 08:04 PM.. |

Maybe you can post it on here when you are done for those of us that are photoshop challenged.

I did one a while back. It's the blocky version though. You're looking for the more realistic looking explosion. Either way, feel free to use this if you want.
Zoom in once you follow the link and you'll have a full size image, or here's a post edited full size. Last edited by Firefly77; 03-09-2010 at 08:28 PM.. |

I yet have to do a digi explosion too.
That one looks great, FF. I've used one that somebody did here (don't remember the name, sorry), and fixed some details.
