No one is expected to like everything or hate everything for that matter. Just curious where people stand ... if all we do is really gripe as some accuse or if it just seems that way.

I'm pretty satisfied. I don't know why anyone would be down on it given how much better things are for Joe than they were three or four years ago.
I would be perfectly pleased if we had a decent Classified Cobra Commander. Beyond logistics issues, that is my only complaint about the "current direction of the Joe franchise." The most popular and recognizable character from the GI Joe universe has one of the worst figures they've put out in the signature line.

Thoughts on the new O-ring CC? |

I like a lot of the aesthetics of the figures and how some look updated but i dont like a lotta the weapons or how the franchise has been handled at retail ( too many goddamned exclusives or fan channel bullshit ). I have to agree with sentiments of preorder so far out and showing things that are a year or more away.

I'm satisfied. Sure, I can think of things that "I" would do differently... but it's just my opinion vs Lenny and Hasbro's opinion. I have to assume that they know more than I do - and are making the right choices for the brand. Overall, it's much more positive looking than it has been since the 25th anniversary era. It kind of makes sense on paper:
A) Classified Line - highly detailed 'ultimate' versions of the characters in 6" format. B) O-Ring Retro 'Revival' - cartoonish, bright, 80's looking nostalgia format. C) Occasional Transformer Crossovers. D) Third Party Licensed products. |

The only area they're lagging is media. There needs to be a streaming series, either animated or live-action.

I don't collect O-rings, but I ordered it. I have to support the Sunbow CC whenever I can.

But if that series keeps your Sunbow dreams alive, isn't it worth it? We won't force you to watch. (side note) CC's helmet looks squatty but he still looks better than Colgate smile Duke. The nostalgia of the two figures is great to see, though. |

I'm very pleased they're giving us more obscure things instead of just the eight well-known characters, not only Hasbro but other toylines too
