aah true, the problem everyone has for Low-Light (i don't have a roadblock).
You can slice it carefully and paste it on the other side, Darth Henning did it succesfully and looks good. And since the bullets run exactly on the shoulder where the shoulderpad was, you won't need to fix that portion, simply cover it with the ammo ;)

Pathfinder is a Paizo owned project that keeps D&D v3.5 alive, and upgrades it and smooths it out. It runs really smooth. Also, Paizo has their own setting, called Pathfinder (ironic, right? ;) ) which is pretty cool in it's own right. I'm not so much a fan of forgotten realms, as i feel Drizzt kinda ruined drow as a species. Well, it's not all drizzt's fault, just that after drizzt, there seem to be more 'Good' drow than evil ones. Also, i am soooooo not a fan of Salvatore's writing style or verbiage. I prefer the Eberron Setting to just about all other D&D published settings, although i do like Ravenloft. |

True. Since JF and I have been talking. He wants my one slaughter, and I told him I would be glad to make him one. the warthog version surely is a different style. I could easily do something with it. As for the design... it may be slightly different but itd have a very few likenesses to be added. So it could be done. I could also modify a pit commando vest as well...
Hum, for the knife holster, you might try the one Zartan has on the leg. It's cool cos it's not too bulky, i'm using it on Spirit (to replace the non-working knife sheet of the chest) Quote:
Bah, i saw the drawings, i really like WAR drawings. Didn't know it was some sort of setting tho. I love 3.5, i think it's the best rendition of D&D (and yes, i'm playing D&D even before Advanced). Quote:

I love the renegade characters (duh!), but yeah, the "good drow" syndrome it's overused. Actually, there isn't that many good Drows, just a couple... I don't mind much Salvatore's writing. I'm not a fan, but it certainly doesn't bothers me, it's quite agile as reading at least. And yes, Eberron is absolutely cool. I starte playing after years of DMing, and honestly i didn't know which race to choose lol Ravenloft it's absolutely awesome. It's like playing a Castlevania setting, but with more stuff.

Aah yes, got it.
Bah, i saw the drawings, i really like WAR drawings. Didn't know it was some sort of setting tho. I love 3.5, i think it's the best rendition of D&D (and yes, i'm playing D&D even before Advanced). I love FR. I love the renegade characters (duh!), but yeah, the "good drow" syndrome it's overused. Actually, there isn't that many good Drows, just a couple... I don't mind much Salvatore's writing. The pathfinder setting is good because it gets the flavor of a classic Fantasy setting. You have epic good and evil, multiple nations (which are varied and more than a little similar to the nations of the Conan-verse), it just rocks out. Plus the mechanics are overhauled to correct most of the crunchy spots in 3.5. give it a read if you can, i don't think you will be disappointed. 3.5 is definitely good, but the pathfinder overhaul is better. I like 4e, but mostly because i like RPGs and also Wargames, and 4e feels like a good compromise between them. I started with the red boxed set of basic D&D way back when. I dig eberron mostly because the setting has *everything* in it. You can run a High Fantasy game, a gritty noir game, pulp action, etc. You name it, Eberron can do it. Also, i respect the setting because it treats magic like it would have been treated in real life...it has been made into an economy and almost mass produced. The lightning rail is awesome! Yes, Ravenloft is awesome. It's like Castlevania, only much more evil and deadly. |

Hrmm, wasn't the Star League prior to the succession wars? If so, i never played in that time period of BTech. I always played right after the Succession Wars and through the Clan Invasion. We played a character tree system, where each Player had their own squad of 4 pilots, and we used the mechwarrior system for character xp and growth, but the btech system for mech engagements and mech maintenance. If a pilot died, they died. You could roll for a replacement for your squad, but if you got one he was a FNG and you had to bring him up under fire. My vet eventually captured a MADCAT and i got it refit and used it. The game kinda died out though, as some of player went to grad school or were deployed elsewhere. I miss it. I almost got into the clicky Mech game but it was a different time frame and i just never jumped on board. |
