I never actively tried to destroy any Joes. I do remeber launching a couple tied to some bottle rockets. My cousins and I used to use the Fisher-Price Adventure People with our Joes, and I remember one time just destroying the vehicles, demolition derby style.

When i was 10 or so I was playing with my joes in TV room, it was basically a loft area over looking the dining room below. Gung Ho was on look out duty when he mis-stepped and fell 1 story to the ground below. Unfortunately he lost his arm, I was able to get a new one and kept the broken one as a battle scarred variant right along with crotchless quick kick.
Probably an even better death of a joe was my first Zartan, I got him at TRUs while visiting my grandparents. We got home late at night and I wanted to see the color change feature so I set him face down on a lamp that had been on while we were gone.... needless to say a few minutes later I smell melted plastic... zartan and the lamp had become one. Dude... never heard of an action figure fetish before... that's pretty strange. I once bought a SW Snowtrooper at an antique store (in a plastic baggie), and when I opened it, it smelled like poop... then I looked at the shape of the snowtrooper's helmet, and promptly dropped the figure to the ground. |

I repainted an old motorcycle with side car that fit my joes, slapped a cobra commander and cobra trooper in it, built a ramp, strapped some rockets to the sides for propulsion, taped an m80 to it let it roll then once it launched off the ramp KA-BOOM!!!!! Joes win. lol

I had one of the parachute dudes.
I went out into my yard and threw him in the air. The parachute worked just well enough to blow him toward the sidewalk, but only just. It was a sad day in the Pit indeed. |
