Point taken though, I might tweak the palette a bit, and add a chest-harness sheath and knife while I'm at it. Quote:

Did you used to live in Seattle, or was it just the closest city with an NBA team at the time you got into the sport? Because if you didn't, wouldn't it be a bit more like your best friend's ex-wife? No need to feel spurned in that case. ;) His defense will eventually come around like LeBron's did and Carmelo's is starting to. The Olympic participants have all benefited from time around Kobe and the college coaching philosophies, IMO.
I guess you could make the argument that I "cheated" on the Sonics first though, becoming a Grizzlies fan overnight when Vancouver got its own NBA team (the less said about the Grizzlies' tragic run in Vancouver, the better). And speaking of the Grizz, I'm not a fan of OJ Mayo, Rudy Gay, or Zach Randolph, but deep down inside, I'm happy that the Grizzlies are getting the type of success that eluded them for so long in Vancouver (they made a couple of playoff appearances with Hubie Brown and Pau Gasol after they left Van City, but that team, I think, pales in comparison to the current Grizz in terms of youth and talent). |

Much better on Backstop, BTW. I saw some other stuff, but I'll wait until you post it to comment. |

I have to say man, the amount of thought you put into each guy is mind boggling. Amazing attention to detail regarding real world applicability.

They all look great, Zulu, especially Cutter. While I liked your original look for him, this one is very recognizable.

But I know how you feel. In my G.I. Joe fan fictions that I write, I often portray a dark and gritty, ultra realistic G.I. Joe. While I think the realism adds weight and meaning to the story, I sometimes feel like it takes away from that classic G.I. Joe feeling of Sunbow and Marvel. I sometimes throw in a B.A.T. or some wacky doomsday device just to make it feel more like G.I. Joe, LOL! |

Love Cutter. Backstop came out really well, and I'm digging that *ugly* mug you gave him. I was all ready to say that Sure Fire was incorrectly colored until I saw you explanation. I forgot that he had that second version, and like Barrel Roll, the second version looks a bit better. As for Bulletproof... I must begrudgingly admit he looks great (like your Long Arm redo). At least he still has his shades.

Bulletproof looks great. Backstop looks uncomfortable in that heavy/big helmet.
Great updates like always.
