Avoid the seller "kaj" if you can. I received my item and everything but it was broken and glued back together. I emailed him about it and ask to return it. He responded by blaming his son, as it was his toy. The auction said "Adult Displayed" in it. You couldn't see the broken area from the angle of the picture either. So, after 2 weeks of no response for a return, I left him negative feedback. Only the 2nd time I've ever done that.

He responded with a rude message and filed and unpaid claim through PayPal. I sent him a message asking why he did that and he responded with this crazy message:

"so nice to see that it is the only way too get you to respond...please do not email me...i am warning you only once then i will just report you to ebay for harassment.

this is your warning right now. do not repond or iniate any contact with me or my son or family.

i am keeping this email and your email to me.

have a pleasant life."

As he does have a lot of positive feedback, he has had PLENTY of negative in the past as well. Just beware.

I have mostly good experience buying/selling on ebay--only got riped off twice--got $ back from Paypal twice. Won sports cards that never came, dealer gave refund, had other sports card get lost in postal system for 3 months. (Actually happened twice--1 I sold, and 1 I bought) If Secondtimearound shows back up on ebay DO NOT BUY--he rips people off. NEver shipped my Joes.

Be warned of this seller, biginkdot, as this could happen to you. Won this item on ebay:
1988 X 19 GHOST RIDER - eBay (item 330304050459 end time Jan-31-09 18:17:16 PST)

The item was extremely poorly packed by the seller, in such a way that without a doubt the seller did not expect the item to survive transit. It appeared to have once been wrapped in a thin layer of wrap paper, no bubble wrap, or extra padding, just a measly layer, this item was then placed in a horrible, thin, cramped box that clearly had poor foundations, not meant to ship anything of real value, then taped up with useless non latching tape with just a few strips here and there.

I don't know if this shite packing job was done to spite me for winning the item so cheap, or if maybe I was simply just unlucky winner 229, and everyone else gets treated like a king on their pack jobs, who knows??? Upon delivery the box end was opened as you can see in the pic.

Infact, the end of the box was just a piece of cardboard folded to make a end maybe, and stuck in there and just taped with a strip of tape or two to hold it in it seems, and the tape came off during transit since it had no stickiness. Even the ship label was peeling off due to the tape sucking so bad. You will see this in the pics.

Since the tape was cheap and did not stick to cardboard, and was used so sparingly, the package came open during transit prob once at every hub Ill bet.The lid/end of the box fell out as I was taking pics even, along with a few parts, so I nabbed a pic of the front of the busted X-19 too. I wonder just how many times this X-19 fell out of the package during transit??? The wrap paper, I mean, it wasn't even totally wrapped around the jet when it was delivered, so you could tell USPS had just shoved it back in with no care.

I started to pull it out, seen the exhaust area was stuck up, said screw it. I knew I was going to have to return this and file a claim. I just shoved the parts back in and the end back on the box ( prob the exact same way USPS did it during transit) and left right away with the package in tow.

I have taken the package back to USPS and refused acceptance. A clerk and myself both inspected it there in full per USPS request, only to find the nose cone was indeed missing, the item was scuffed and scratched near that area, parts had all been knocked off, landing gear was stuck, and the exhaust area was indeed stuck. The clerk fiddled with it for a few in a sad attempt at hoping he could find a reason to get me to accept the package, tried to stick the windshield piece back on the front, failed, and requested I put it all back in the box while he went to go speak to the Post Master.

I expressed disdain for the postal delivery man not asking me upon delivery if I was willing to accept the package in its clearly abused form, nor given a chance to inspect it when it was delivered. And what should hurt USPS most, even though I know it doesn't, was the fact that at any given point during transit when they had seen the box coming open, they could have just taped it themselves just for the sake of good customer service.

After all,they want to keep raising rates and cut a delivery day, why cant they go the extra mile to earn the money we pay them then??? But then again its their service the beat the package soundly too.....

I see this as both the fault of the seller, biginkdot, mostly, and USPS, partially to some degree. Also should be noted this item during transit got labeled as mis-sent on the tracking info, and delayed in delivery.... I have filed a claim with Paypal requesting a refund in full, and emailed pics of the package and a pic of my scanned refusal receipt USPS issued me.

This guy sold me a "MINT" carded clear Wraith at full price $42.99
I only bought it cause I wanted 1 MOMC, was never thrilled about the price.
I asked him to pack it carefully as package condition is crucial for the price I paid, he did.

It arrived and I was kinda shocked that this guy would send this with a HUGE corner crease as well as the bubble had about 10,000 surface scratches like someone took a brillo pad to it.
He claims it came straight from a sealed case from HTS and did not have the condition issues when it left.
He also told me he never made any money on it...
...OK...
He also charged double for shipping and took 12 days to ship !!!
Refused to return/refund, filed claim with PayPal.

I'm done with buying carded stuff off eBay, this guy has "mint condition" in ALL his auctions.
Anything on eBay is "MINT" now-a-days !!!!!!! ...ANYTHING !!!

xxxguttermouthxxx-unreasonable guy and difficult to deal with

I tell ya this has NOT been my week for Ebay.

I sold some items to a guy in Argentina. He paid real quick and I shipped them out to him. He emails me on Saturday and asks why the package DC# is showing that the item is in Canada. Huh?? I told him that I am not sure but given that it is Saturday, I can't do anything about it till Monday. Long story short, USPS sent my package to Canada and according to them it was delivered in Argentina. When they were told to look it up online, they confirmed that it was in fact, in CANADA. They told me that I needed to open a dispute and wait a few days. Well they told me today that they have contacted Canada and it takes them (Canada) anywhere from 30-60 days to respond and return the package. Long and short, this guy won't get his stuff for a few more weeks.

So he went and opened a Paypal dispute on Monday, which I gotta say, I don't blame him. However, it left me with a negative balance in my Paypal. Bank transfers take 3-5 days so I couldn't do anything with my Paypal until the funds were available.

So I won an auction from this guy, xxxguttermouthxxx, on Sunday night (when I had a Paypal balance) and while I 100% agree that he said he wanted to be paid in 3 days, there was NOTHING I could do until the bank transfer went through. I didn't plan on this happening and I have almost $150 tied up in this Paypal dispute. When I told him, he said too bad, he's not waiting any more to be paid and he's relisting the item.

I get this bright idea to ask my dad to send me the money from HIS Paypal account via an instant payment to free up my account (which he was good enouh to do). That knocked out my negative balance and now I could just send the money by doing an instant transfer from MY bank account.

The seller refused the sale! I told him what was happening as the WHOLE situation was out of my control. I tried to recitfy it and he was not willing at all to be a LIL more patient or lenient.

So he relisted the auction and asked me to cancel the transaction. I told him where to go.

Apparently my ten years of eBay experience and 100% feedback meant nothing to him. I would advise to avoid this putz as he is completely unreasonable.

Just be forewarned, if you buy a dvd from E-Bay member jrboj, it might be a burned copy. I bought a dvd called the Midnight Hour from him and the disc was a copy, the package art was computer printed and you can't even read it, and he won't respond to messages...You are warned!!!
