i like the bane motif idea, but maybe instead of a sling make another handle he can hold onto. Or use a similar waist mounting/pivot system like the heavy gunner does from AvP.

Thank you! I thought about the waist mounting, but decided against it to keep this one moving fast. If my sling idea doesn't pan out, I may very well just add another handle. I should have a better idea of what will work tomorrow or Friday.

Got a lot more done on this guy last few days than I was expecting.
First up, a test fit as well as to see how the red came out on the arms. I'm happy with them: Next is the BFG, ended up going with a 2nd handle. The gun originally had one, I just cut it off and relocated it: Lil more work on the legs, think I'll have to 'finish' them before deciding if I need to start them over: Helmet painted, just needs some fine sanding and hopefully not another coat, then some touchup on the mask, figure is just for pic taking: Decided to try my new airbrush with black for the backpack and damn do I like the result, the light coat provided a texture somewhat similar to the original part of the backpack: Upper torso is now complete, may even skip the webgear/vest after seeing how it looks together, but we'll see: Couple shots of the gun being held, I think it'll work: And finally for the night, a shot of the completed upper torso with the backpack and hose attached. I'm happy:

Thanks guys! A lil nervous with the legs as I think I used the wrong paint to prime them but I'll try 1 more coat of red and see how they look. Hoping to have an update sometime tomorrow.

Thanks guys!
Really happy with how this guy is turning out. Really like the BAT legs and hope the final painting on the feet works out, that yellow is a PITA to cover up. Wouldn't mind making some more of these but sadly I only have 1 of those guns, it came from an old gundam figure I bought years ago. Update shortly.
