It sounds like an one-sided, one-way relationship whether be of business nature (posting only to sell as in this case), social (pool parties at a "friend's" place when the one time we get in touch with is to actually throw a party by their fancy pool) or anything else for that matter. There's so much of that wherever you go...the on-line business self-gain type hits you in the face constantly as we tend to spend a good amount of time surfing the net. Outside that I'm sure we all have had that partner/friend/colleague who insisted on "taking" and never "giving" back and that's not sustainable. Thankfully tankers here are smart enough not to allow that to go unnoticed.
I know how that is, life happens and then we all draw an absence but I admire those who keep coming back to continue posting, commenting and just enriching this community in their own way. Posting for personal gain is short lived with short term benefits if any, yet I'm shocked how there's still a lot of that.

Anyone have a good technique for giving figures glasses (not sunglasses)? Not worried about making them removable, just want something that looks natural and to-scale.

When I was doing this years ago , I found the best CA glue. Quick bonding, not thick and not thin. For the life of me can’t recall the name. (Though I think it had an orange label or maybe green.) just wondering what you guys are using now to bond your parts together?

This is probably way too advanced for me, but how would you master-artists go about recreating/matching this pearlescent effect?

One of the last figures I want for my ME joeverse collection is a v3 style Grunt, but I can't seem to find a good proxy for his short/pushed jacket sleeves. This is especially tricky since I don't paint, so they would need to match an existing brown vest or jacketed torso. Any ideas from the tank hive-mind?

Firstly, I'm gonna show you mine:
https://www.hisstank.com/forum/g-i-j...y-axonrey.html Secondly, if you don't paint, I would say Sgt. Thunderblast might be the best approximation. It still leaves you with an off color crotch though

Yeah, the black pants are a deal-breaker. I'm pretty sure no Hasbro base will really work, been looking around at BFS, CFT/DNL, FMF/EF since it's easier to mix-and-match pants/legs with different tops. I think I'm getting close with a BF/Hacks build but stumped on the arms.

Maybe something in the MTF Vietnam stuff?
Otherwise, maybe the brown tee arms and the brown vest jacket with a black tee from MTF?
