I'm not really a GI Joe guy but these figures make excellent Mad Max customs. This is the only one I've completely finished although I have a bunch in the process. Lord Humungus and Max should be ready soon.

Lance, to pull off the look you have to have your "boy" on a leash to ride on the back of your motorcycle. That should get the idea of the mohawk out of your head.

Trust me. I've had my eye on the AutoArt 1:18 scale Interceptor. That thing is awesome. I've also looked into other scale vehicles to try and get some others done but it's hard to get those 70's cars and trucks. I haven't been able to find any yet. Don't think they made a F-150 or the Falcon. I have been able to get some motorcycles for my Mad Max I film figures that I'm working on.
