Been working on a 1/24 scale movie-fied G1 Bumblebee and Cliffjumper for some time now. Finally got Cliffjumper finished. Basically a hybrid of the movie look and CJ's G1 robot and alt modes. Used a 1/24 1978 Porsche 924 Turbo model kit as well as a Bionicle skeleton and bits from Gundam kits, sheet styrene, miliput, and etched brass.

And here's some size comparison pics with the G1 toy.
And a few WIP pics: He stands at just over 7.25 inches, making him about 14.5 feet tall in the real world. Painted with Tamiya Flat Black and Italian Red and detailed with acrylic and enamel paints. The red car parts were finished with future floor polish. The Autobot decal is from reprolabels. Had a lot of fun working on this one. Thanks for taking a look! |

the level of work that went into this is impressive. I don't really follow Transformers (never really liked them) so i don't know much about them unless they were in the recent movies. That being said, i don't really know who this guy is...can he still turn into a car though?

Sweet looking! Reminds me more of Alternators rather than movie, but yeah, really like it. Keep up the good work!
Oh, and thanks for not just making him a red Bumblebee; hate it when people do that. Especially Hasbro....

I've been doing these style TF maquettes since the first movie. Fun stuff. Hope you give it a try. |
