TR DESPERATELY needed a new head. I can't recall if I got this from Broken Arrow or Slayer design Studios (formerly Tri-Gate)...I've ordered from both and ended up dumping my purchases into one bin until I can get to the project the parts are intended for...both do great work!
While I was fixing his face, I figured I'd add some paint aps and update his gear a bit as well. I never liked TR running about with a BFG when his job description seemed much better suited to a shotgun in my mind. I trimmed the over-sized bullets from his shoulder holster down and painted them to look like shotgun shells. I then painted up one of my spare CP Firefly backpacks. As an afterthought, I added a hole in the top to place one of my Marauder John's flashlights as a bit of a shout-out to his classic figure. The knife on his right leg was also replaced with one of Marauder John's kits. |

I never understood the BFG and HUGE backpack. The shotgun shells are a nice touch.

Now that's a proper TR! Nice job with the shotgun shells and I like the flashlight throwback.

Wow. All I did to fix him was cover up his eyes with goggles and give him a Marauder M60...

Thanks for the feedback folks!
It looks like Alyosha answered before I could look back through my records...the head is the EOD specialist from Broken Arrow. It's a far better sculpt than the Hasbro original! |
