Here's another joe I never thought I'd end up doing, to me he was just a cheap Footloose repaint. Anyway, thankfully his character was fleshed out more in the Devil's Due series..enough to motivate me to do a custom. Anyway I wanted him to be as different as possible to my Footloose custom, so I tried a different head. Again I went with Tatum Duke head...gave him more facial hair and so on and I thonk it turned out ok good enough for Claymore. Then I just wanted to do away with the giraffe camouflage to something a little bit more toned down. So here he is...my Claymore.

One of my favorite Joe characters, (No idea why). But that paint job looks excellent. I like the use of the Duke head. Really good Job.
How well does it look proportion wise? I can't tell with the helmet on. It looks good but I find the Duke head to be too big on some bodies at times. Well I hate his face, but adding the Mustache just opens up a whole new world.

Actually the comic Claymore only appeared a couple of times and was based around a figure. He's also a captain. I'd never heard of the Lt. Claymore from the cartoons (never having seen any of them) before I came here. Anyway some info here: YOJOE.COM | Claymore Claymore (G.I. Joe) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia |
