Ok, i was working on some customs, and decided to try a Cover Girl.
This it's the base figure for me (i'm going to paint), but might be useful for other tankers that don't paint at all, so i decided to post anyways. Head/torso/legs: 5pk desert Dial Tone Arms/Jacket: Indiana Jones hands: Roc Blue camo Scarlett. No paint required, no cutting anything. -Getting rid of camo: Erase the camo with acetone (nail polish remover, really easy to find). You can use a thoothpick, or one of those little sticks with cotton for ears (word please?). Brown camo goes off with just a brush, white is a bit more hard, but will go off anyways. Be careful on the lower legs! The camo should go easily, more than the torso, but be careful or you'll get rid of the light brown base colour. -Crack open the torso: Easy, just stuck a small screwdriver between the neck and the collar, on the back. Just look at the figure and you'll see what i mean. There's a crevasse. -Attaching the arms: Should be easy. They fit perfectly, no need to cut anything. (To get them out of the Indy torso, just cut on the shoulders, or boil the torso and pop.). -Finishing: Once the arms are in place, glue back the torso. See if the jacket fits. Should do well (personally, broke off the shirt collar, really easy to do, but i'm nitpicky). Attach Scarlett hands. DTs hands are the same, but the pegs are too small. Scarlett's hands fits without modifying anything. That's it. Sounds more complicated than it is. It tooks just 2 maybe 3 hours, mostly because the white camo takes patience. Cover Girl has already short hair, so DT's head suits her well. You could use a RIA Scarlett head tho, that should work. Quick pics (big, so you can see well), just ignore Billy and Chuckles :

It looks good man. Thanks for the recipe. I'll try this once I get a spare Dial Tone.

That is awesome- I have all of the other parts, I'm buying Dial-Tone off ebay right now just to make that figure! Thank you for the recipe and the acetone tip, too.

It's really easy. I was actually going to use Blue camo scarlett torso, but DTs work fine too. The good thing is, that if you're going for full repaint, articulations shouldn't be a problem. The acetone is wonderful. just remember to be careful on parts like lower legs which are usually a different colour than the base.
